For decades, synthetic chemists have sought to make industrial-scale catalysts as efficient and exceptionally selective as enzymes are in biological systems but, unfortunately, this task has proven evasive. Efforts then focused on making enzymes useful for the industry, and protein engineering had the task of adapting natural enzymes to work in conditions of industrial-scale processes. The approach called directed evolution is one of the models used to carry this out. En los últimos años, el uso de la inteligencia artificial (AI) ha tenido un incremento en el ámbito educativo. Se observa un interés gradual por evolucionar la enseñanza tradicional hacia una virtual o computarizada. Este trabajo busca hacer una revisión de estudios examinando el rol que ejerce la AI en los diferentes procesos de enseñanza y como ésta potencia el aprendizaje en la formación profesional. Esta investigación también expone como se viene evidenciando la contribución del uso de la AI y sus diversas ramas, tales como Machine Learning (ML) y Natural Language Processing (NLP). Además, se identifican algunos desafíos en el empleo e implantación de esta nueva tecnología, ya que aún existe un grado de incertidumbre en ciertos usuarios.

The sales and operations planning process has to continually evolve before the new integration dimensions in the company supply and demand areas; for many years this concept has not been well understood in the companies. The inputs and outputs of this process should be clearly individualized and accepted as responsibilities of a determined business area. A new management architecture, corresponding to this scenario, is proposed and discussed in this document. A review of the computer support requirements for this process is undertaken. The required logic is also explained, highlighting the problems of corporate culture that arise in response to these changes and how they should be avoided. The common mistakes that companies make facing this need and the key success factors for an adequate deployment are also pointed out.

This article exposes and argues the learning theory called connectivism; a new learning paradigm that is beginning to be applied in this digital era, based on the interconnection of the nodes of a wide network of information and knowledge. The paper mentions some theories that gave rise to this new type of learning, as well as the foundations of this theory by its creators and advocates. The role of the teacher in this new form of learning and the importance of the student or participant node are explained; also, how this theory could evolve by implementing artificial intelligence and how intelligent connections could be achieved. Finally, the theory is projected to a new form of learning based on artificial education, resorting to intelligent nodes and conjecturing, in a certain way, the rupture of the indispensability of the teacher in this learning process.

Consequently, a neglect of its raison d'être has been generated: the protection of the fundamental right to a healthy environment.
