In Lima, as in other large Latin American cities, the daily experience of its inhabitants is framed by relations of inequality that go beyond the great economic differences normalized in capitalist societies. Urban inequality is presented as a multidimensional phenomenon in which its main components and the way they interact with each other is not universal, but have been constructed and structured throughout the history of each society, following the specific characteristics of each urban center, so we can refer of an intersectional inequality. A review of the urban history of Lima is proposed, which seeks to demonstrate how urban inequality has been constructed, and to show how the production of the city and the production of inequality have been two sides of the same process. The article tries to explain the performance of peruvian incumbent parties in the immediate electoral process after their term. To do this, the limitations of two possible explanations are explored: retrospective voting and party institutionalization. Against this, the article proposes that, to explain the peruvian government parties poor performance, it is necessary to stressed the importance of the party leader and the presidential candidate. These are key factors that can affect the electoral chances of the Peruvian ruling party in a high caudillism.

La matemática desde sus inicios ha intentado describir la realidad en cual se vive, a través del tiempo ha ido apoyando a las diferentes ciencias las cuales mediante este soporte formal y abstracto ha sido enormemente fortalecido con el tiempo generando modelos matemáticos, formulas, expresiones que puedan resolver problemas reales en la medida que se pueda. Por mientras, que la economía donde se estudia y analiza los diferentes fenómenos que involucran la dinámica de generación de bienes y recursos, servicios y procesos en el mercado, por lo cual la economía ha necesitado de la matemática para formalizar de manera lógica con expresiones formales y abstractas pero con interpretaciones aplicadas a la realidad.

Se ha identificado que los actinidos (An) en medio acuoso se coordinan a nueve moléculas de agua para formar complejos de fórmula [An(H2O)9]3+. Esto es importante porque puede ayudar a entender el comportamiento de estos elementos en los desperdicios nucleares, lo cual podría ayudar a la implementación de métodos más eficientes para el tratamiento de dichos desperdicios y así reducir, o evitar, el daño que estos ocasionan al ambiente.

El modelado BPMN para la gestión de procesos permite aplicar una notación gráfica estandarizada para el modelado de procesos de negocio, así como una notación estándar que es fácilmente legible y entendible por parte de todos los involucrados e interesados (stakeholders), como los analistas de negocio, los desarrolladores técnicos, los gerentes y administradores del negocio. Background: Mechanical reasoning (MR) is the ability to identify the components of a system and understand how they interact in order for the system to work. Different mechanical systems, such as those of wheels and gears, require different types of reasoning. Objective: This study seeks to analyze the relationship that working memory (WM) and processing speed (PS) have with MR. Method: One hundred seventy-three (173) university students were assessed through the DAT test which consisted of 30 MR problems, the symbol search subtest of the WAIS-III battery for assessing the PS, and the BIMET-V and BIMET-VE batteries to evaluate the WM verbal and visuospatial components.
