This paper will briefly overview how the constant development of information and communication technologies (ICTs) has changed the interaction between people today. Real experiences have been transferred to a virtualized method, in this case, the internet. Although the space-time barriers of traditional communication have been fragmented, social relations have become more assertive, but new problems related to different behaviors arise. Bullying is defined as an act that threatens the well-being of a person and becomes cyberbullying when it is carried out over the internet, generating large-scale problems of anxiety, depression, and even the act of suicide, which is why it is essential to detect these malicious behaviors in time. We will use a Natural Language Processing (NLP) tool using Twitter as the basis for the extraction of knowledge bases.

Botnets are some of the most recurrent cyber-threats, which take advantage of the wide heterogeneity of endpoint devices at the Edge of the emerging communication environments for enabling the malicious enforcement of fraud and other adversarial tactics, including malware, data leaks or denial of service. Objective: to develop a microfluidic system (lab-on-a-chip) for detecting circulating breast cancer tumor cells. Materials and methods: the device was designed using 3D technology, and it was manufactures using soft photolithography and a laser cutting machine. The system performance and its magnetic settings were assessed using Jurkat cells and breast cancer cells that show different expression of CD45 and EpCAM surface markers. Antibodies against these markers were bound to magnetic pellets. Additionally, iron nanoparticles were used for assessing their entrapment. Results: nanoparticles were significantly trapped in the area set by magnetic field modeling. Tumor cells labeled with magnetic antibodies became trapped. Breast cancer is the second most frequent malignant neoplasm in the world and the fifth cause of death from cancer in women. In Peru, breast cancer is second in incidence and the third cause of death from cancer in women. Mammography screening began in 1960 with the goal of detecting cancer at its smallest size before clinically evident in order to have better prognosis and survival. Several trials have been done since to determine mammography importance as a screening method and to establish age to begin, frequency and when to stop screening. In this article the role of mammography as screening tool is reviewed, as well as controversies on use, side effects, and recommendations on its use in Peru.

The specificity between bacteriophages and bacteria is a feature that has been successfully used for the detection of several microbial species. For this reason the detection of vibriophages is a valuable research tool, and it might be a fast and convenient method to Vibrio cholerae diagnostics. The goal of this study was to detect vibriophages in shallow seawater samples and to determine the morphological characteristics of these vibriophages. It was determined the growth kinetics of a strain of Vibrio cholerae serotype Inaba. The impact of the implemented strategies is evaluated and the perception they have generated in the main protagonists of the educational process is measured. A series of deficiencies are identified and discussed, it is also reported on the detection of key points for the development of an efficient educational plan for millions of schoolchildren, emphasizing those with the lowest rate of technological accessibility and connectivity.

Sinus pathologies of odontogenic origin (SPO) are common in the clinical consultation; however, the dentist has some complications to detect them because their discovery is usually incidental and through imaging studies that, in most cases, are of low quality. The objective of this review is to describe the pertinent imaging resources that allow the detection of the most frequent SPO and, at the same time, carry out an updated review of the scientific literature in order to recognize the imaging of both the maxillary sinus and the dental organs. The scientific literature focused on this topic, published between 2014 and 2020, was consulted. The increasing use of QR codes across various sectors has facilitated the transfer of information but has also exposed users to new cybersecurity threats, such as quishing, a variant of phishing that leverages these codes to redirect users to malicious websites. To address this issue, the study aimed to implement an antimalware system that employs machine learning alongside the VirusTotal API to analyze and classify links embedded in QR codes in real time. The methodology was structured into four stages: capturing and decoding QR codes using OpenCV, analyzing extracted URLs with the VirusTotal API, issuing preventive alerts based on the link classification, and evaluating system performance with a dataset of 100 QR codes (50 safe and 50 malicious). The aim of this study was to standardize the indirect ELISA test for the detection of antibodies and to evaluate a coproantigen detection test (ES-78 sandwich ELISA) for the Fasciola hepatica diagnoses in alpacas. For the indirect ELISA, the excretion–secretion products (ES) were used as antigens and a peroxidasa anti IgG immunoconjugate of alpaca was obtained through protein A affinity cromatography. The detection ELISA was tested with the FASCIDIG diagnostic kit, which detects metabolics antigens using an AcM-ES78 monoclonal antibody of the IgG 2a sub class. The diagnostic process of respiratory diseases requires experience and skills to assess the different pathologies that patients may develop. Unfortunately, the lack of qualified radiologists is a global problem that limits respiratory diseases diagnosis. Therefore, it will be useful to have a tool that minimizes errors and workload, improves efficiency, and speeds up the diagnostic process in order to provide a better healthcare service to the community.
