In the present work the revision, deduction and application of mathematical models in the quantification of the reaction kinetics of leaching processes of national sulphided minerals in chemical systems is made. The interaction between the mineral particles and the leaching solution is controlled by three possible mechanisms: by chemical reaction, by diffusion through the porous bed and by mass transfer; Each mechanism has its own mathematical modeling and parametric conditions. Experimental runs of leaching of gold and copper minerals are presented, in which their kinetic control equations of the most relevant variables are shown. Other empirical models are also shown that are used to elucidate the phenomenology of the leaching of mineral species, call chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena.

The article presents the results obtained in the structural, physical and chemical characterization of the stubble fiber of the pineapple harvest (Ananas Comosus) Golden as an alternative to elaborate paper. The chemical composition and apparent digestibility of nutrients of the solid-state fermentation (SSF) of waste taro tubers (Colocasia esculenta (L) Schott) inoculated with natural yogurt fed to growing pigs was determined. Dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), crude protein (CP), crude fibre (CF), ash, ether extract (EE), nitrogen-free extracts (NFE) and gross energy (GE) were determined. La investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar como la gestión de procesos mejorará la productividad en la empresa Chemical Processes Industries. La investigación fue de tipo aplicada, enfoque cuantitativo, alcance explicativo y diseño pre-experimental. La población estuvo compuesta por las galoneras en presentación de 2Lt de Humato potásico. La técnica utilizada fue la observación directa y el análisis documental. Asimismo, el instrumento fue las fichas de registro pre y postest. Para los resultados se demostró que mejoró la productividad incrementándola desde 41% a 82%; así mismo la eficiencia de 63% a 88% y la eficacia de 66% a 93%. Traditional methods of leather production in Peru consume on average between 60 to 80% of chromium for tanning process , generating wastewater with high concentrations of total chromium that must be treated in order to meet the Maximum Allowable Values ( VMA ) established by the DS 029-2009 - Vivienda. The use of complexing agents in the chrome tanning process reduces the supply of chromium to increase skin absorption. The response surface methodology was applied to evaluate the optimal experimental conditions to remove persistent organic compounds from a synthetic textile wastewater using a batch photochemical reactor on a laboratory scale. Four factors at three levels were studied: Fenton H2O2/Fe2+ reagent ratio (11,25, 18,75, 26,25 mg/L/mg/L), UV lamp power (4, 11, 18 W), pH (2, 3, 4) and treatment time (60, 120, 180 min). The optimum levels found for the four factors were: ratio of Fenton H2O2/Fe2+ reagents equal to 17 mg/L/mg/L, UV lamp power equal to 4 W, pH equal to 3 and treatment time of 180 min. It was found that the photo- Fenton process is very effective in treating synthetic textile wastewater, with a removal of 86 %, with respect to COD.

The search for new protein sources for food formulation is increasing. Black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae have high levels of protein, good fat content and are rich in essential amino acids, making them an alternative source of dietary protein. In this work, the nutritional properties and metabolomic characterization of black soldier fly larvae meal native to the Peruvian Amazon reared on three organic waste substrates were carried out. The three meals had a high protein content (38.90-44.68%), lipids (26.96-31.01%), as well as a high potassium, calcium and low sodium content. El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar el efecto de la recuperación de agua clarificada sobre el consumo de insumos químicos en el tratamiento de efluentes de la empresa Austral Group S.A.A. (2023). Se aplicó un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo preexperimental, con diseño longitudinal retrospectivo, utilizando la observación directa como técnica y fichas de registro como instrumento para caracterizar el sistema y cuantificar el consumo de reactivos. Los resultados mostraron que el sistema presentó un tiempo de retención hidráulica promedio de 2,49 horas y operó entre 138 y 154 días por año, recuperando un efluente con bajo contenido de sólidos y grasas.
