This article is about a company dedicated to export cloths, which outsource the process from the tissue to the garment finishing. The topic is centered in confections outsourcing, what is a MyPE and their problem respect to quality.Confections MyPEs do not count with a defined quality system, reason why the implementation of quality tools and continuous improvement to enhance their products (garment) quality standards is proposed. To implement this concept, the MyPE’s staff was trained to use quality control tools, continuous improvement tools and the auto control method. Measurements pre and post the implementation of the mentioned tools were taken. A reduction of the confection error rate of the MyPE was achieved.

El artículo presenta una revisión sistemática de la literatura cuyo objetivo fue analizar el impacto de las estrategias de gestión de calidad en la mejora continua de comunidades educativas. Para ello, se examinaron estudios empíricos publicados entre 2014 y 2024, seleccionando investigaciones en inglés y español que abordaran explícitamente la temática. La búsqueda se realizó en las bases de datos Scopus, SciELO, ERIC y Web of Science, utilizando términos relacionados con la gestión de calidad y la mejora educativa, mediante la estrategia y organización propuestas en el protocolo Prisma. Its implementation aims to improve the quality of the products or services provided by an organization to meet customer needs as well as legal and regulatory requirements. This standard uses the process approach, which includes the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) cycle and covers seven audit findings integrated into the system. To achieve the objective, a descriptive, cross-sectional, and non-experimental research was conducted. The results include a characterization of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, as well as a proposal that addresses the audit findings using different tools and methods, in order to comply with the requirements of the standard. This paper reports the results of a study on service quality in a business school. We examine the concept of service quality with data collected from 205 executive students. The results obtained from applying exploratory factor analysis to our data suggest that the theoretical factor structure consisting of five factors could not be empirically replicated. The empirical factor structure consist of four factors (tangibles faculty administration and reliability-empathy) being reliability-empathy the most important dimension for professional students. Confirmatory factor analysis results provide strong support for the four-dimensional structure of service quality in a business school setting.

These applications are designed with cloud-native web architectures, operate on an elastic self-service platform, and stand out because of their resilience and elasticity. Continuous software engineering integrates requirements engineering, development, and operations in a continuous loop with reciprocal feedback to produce quality software. The present work proposes to design and implement a cloud-native application applied to the SIGCON case study from a continuous software engineering perspective. It uses the CaaS cloud service model, applies the BFF pattern in software construction, containerizes the frontend, backend, and storage, and presents the results.

In Peru, the food industry represents 16.52% of GDP and bread is one of the foods that generated the highest consumption; however, despite the demand, bakery SMEs have a negative performance. Poor process management and methods are used affecting its pro- ductivity. Faced with this problem, SMEs in Europe are using the Lean Manufacturing methodology to optimize their processes. That is why this article proposes as a contribution the Lean-Deming Model, which includes tools such as Poka Yoke, Work Standardiza- tion, 5S and Deming Cycle. To validate this contribution, the model was developed in a bakery SME in Lima, Peru in its "pan frances" production line. El presente artículo presenta las consideraciones para efectuar propuestas de mejora de procesos en el área de producción de un astillero. La investigación resume la problemática actual en las operaciones industriales en un astillero naval peruano, en el cual se describe el análisis y el diagnóstico de la empresa en donde se evidencia los sobrecostos generados por horas extras de la mano de obra, y finalmente se determinan algunas propuestas de mejora mediante la aplicación de herramientas de calidad para la optimización de procesos productivos.

Este articulo trata de una empresa dedicada, a la exportación prendas, que terceriza los procesos desde el tejido hasta el acabado. El tema se centra en el outsourcing de confecciones, qué es una MYPE y de su problema con respecto a la calidad.La MYPE de confección no cuenta con un sistema de calidad definido, por lo que se plantea implementar herramientas de control de calidad y mejora continua para mejorar el nivel de calidad de los productos (prendas). Para la implementación de este trabajo se capacitó al personal en herramientas de control de calidad, mejora continua y método de autocontrol. Se realizaron mediciones antes y después de la implementación de herramientas. Se pudo conseguir una reducción en los niveles de fallados por confección de la MYPE.

Nowadays, companies face strong competition worldwide, so there is great pressure to increase productivity and reduce production costs. Low productivity is reflected in a high amount of waste, unproductive times, and returns in the extrusion process of an SME in the plastics industry. Therefore, a model focused on continuous improvement is proposed to increase productivity using Lean Manufacturing tools such as Standard Work, SMED, and TPM. Through a simulation of the extrusion process using the Arena software, it was possible to validate an increase in the productivity of the extrusion process by 4.97%, going from 0.21 to 0.22. Likewise, the Standard Work tool reduced wastage by 30.44%, the SMED tool reduced extruder machine setup times by 9.76%, and finally, the TPM tool, focused on its fourth pillar of quality maintenance, was able to reduce defective products by 28.38%.

Las normas ISO 9001 en sus diversas versiones 2008 y 2015, sirven a las organizaciones para implementar un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad de modo que puedan crear productos o proveer servicios de calidad para el cliente o usuario final. Siendo las universidades proveedoras de servicios educativos, debiendo formar estudiantes de calidad en este cambiante ambiente competitivo, no pueden gestionar sus procesos de negocio de manera inorgánica, es decir, con procesos caóticos. El presente artículo presenta un modelo de desarrollo aplicando las normas ISO 9001, buscando influir en la satisfacción de los coordinadores académicos de la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad objeto de estudio, y esperando impacte a su vez en la satisfacción de los estudiantes, en base a un proceso recurrente de mejora continua.

La investigación tuvo como el objetivo Determinar la influencia de la utilización de la metodología 5S de Kaizen en la gestión de calidad de las MYPE del rubro venta de ropa y accesorios para damas en el distrito Iquitos durante el año 2024. Utilizo metodología descriptiva de enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental, empleó cuestionario estructurado de acuerdo a sus dimensiones e índices, utilizó la encuesta como instrumento de recolección de datos. La población estuvo compuesta por 32 encuestados elegidos a través de un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia.
