This paper describes the implementation of a prototype automated glass cutting, in order to increase the level of product quality and productivity in a glass company. The prototype was developed with actuators and sensors, which are connected to a programmable logic controller (PLC), so it can control the process automatically, while also reducing bottlenecks and the percentage of wastage in the cutting process glass. This project was undertaken by the students Itala Condezo Collado and Susana Lachira Alvines in the course Manufacturing Processes II Computer-assisted from the Program Industrial Engineering at Universidad Ricardo Palma.

Treatment of data for the qualification of wines, this report details the process followed, where the Python programming language was used, for the analysis of the data of the dataset, the Google Colab server was used to execute the algorithms in the cloud since the team considered that the speed of data analysis in Google Collab is faster. This research presents the design of an automatic machine for post-harvest garlic processing, integrating 3 fundamental processes: garlic stalk cutting, garlic shelling and finally garlic peeling, in order to optimize production, improve quality and reduce costs. The development of the research is confined to farmers in the regions of Peru, contemplating the optimization and automation of 3 garlic processes, in order to allow a faster processing and relieve the farmer's workload. In current supply chains, the use of AIDC technologies allows the information that flows to be standardized and reliable, as well as obtaining a series of advantages related to saving time and costs. In Cuba, the use of these technologies is not regulated by national laws and most companies do not use them, considering ignorance of their effectiveness as the cause. This article analyzes AIDC technologies: specifically, bar code systems and radio frequency systems, their operation and benefits of their use in supply chains. Based on the existing need, a tool was designed based on a procedure that establishes a guide for the selection of technologies to be implemented in logistics processes. The tool designed is used for Case Studies to know its application and mode of use.

Se reporta el desarrollo de un laboratorio Virtual basado en histograma para llevar a cabo experimentos sobre binarizacion de imágenes en niveles de gris. A fin de automatizar el proceso de binarizacion, se introduce un Umbral Heurístico de Binarizacion. Después de obtener el histograma de una imagen en niveles de gris el modulo calcula el umbral heurístico, extrayendo el promedio ponderado de los niveles de gris de primer plano de la imagen. A continuación se resaltan los niveles de gris en la imagen que están por encima del umbral heurístico. Aunque aún no experimentalmente óptimo, el umbral heurístico proporciona una primera aproximación hacia la binarizacion automática de imágenes en niveles de gris.

La pieza completa (Semieje) a inspeccionar, está compuesta por múltiples características y componentes, por lo que para una correcta inspección de todos ellos, fue necesario desarrollar una estación, en la cual el medio eje es ingresado por un robot en posición vertical. En el interior de la estación, el semieje se sujeta en el eje central mediante una mordaza y se comprime mediante dos contrapuntos en los lados superior e inferior para un correcto posicionamiento vertical de la pieza. The objective of this study is to identify irrational beliefs and automatic thoughts in a couple relationship attended in a Psychological Services Center of a National University of Lima and provide knowledge of the psychodiagnostic process from the cognitive - behavioral approach. The couple is made up of a 23-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman. The History Opening Cards were applied; the Psychological Cognitive Behavioral History; Record of Opinions Form A, adapted by Percy Guzmán (2009) [10] and Inventory of Automatic Thoughts, adapted by Ruiz and Luján (1991) [8]. The process of home-made beer production in the malt maceration and cooking stages was controlled automatically with fuzzy logic, across different performers considering the time and temperature of the process, using 2009LabVIEW. The equipment was mainly composed of three 20 L capacity stainless steel containers (water supply, maceration and cooking), an additional hops container, a data acquisition card (PIC 16F877a micro controller), three LM35 temperature sensors and 11 on/off type performers, which were governed by a total of 47 Mandani type fuzzy rules with trapezoidal membership functions, using the method of center area for the defuzzification. The correct identification of timber species is a complicated task for the wood industry and government institutions regulating the different laws that ensure legal and transparent commerce. Currently, experts perform this process using the organoleptic characteristics of the wood. However, the methodology used is time-consuming and limited to environmental conditions. Moreover, it has a scalability issue since acquiring this specific knowledge and experience has a slow learning curve. The development of a Virtual Lab to perform experiments on histogram-based binarization of grey-leveled images is reported. With the aim of automatizing the binarization process, a Heuristic Binarization Threshold is introduced. Once the histogram of a grayscale input image is obtained, the module calculates a Heuristic Threshold by taking the weighted average of the foreground grey levels of the image. Next those pixels in input image whose grey levels are above this threshold are highlighted. El presente artículo describe la implementación de un prototipo automatizado para el llenado y tapado de botellas de plástico, con la finalidad de incrementar el nivel de calidad de los productos así como la productividad en el envasado de las botellas. El prototipo ha sido desarrollado con actuadores neumáticos, sensores, electroválvulas, solenoides, motores y un controlador lógico programable (PLC S7-1200) así como también una rueda de ginebra para que este pueda controlar el proceso de manera automática, reduciendo los cuellos de botella y permitiendo un llenado uniforme. Para la implementación del proyecto, la parte mecánica se conectó con la parte neumática y eléctrica.
