This article will present evidence on the efficacy of the personal development program for elderly applied in a Geriatric Residential Center in Metropolitan Lima. The sample was comprised by 15 residents of both sexes whose age was between 65 to 87 years old. The Psychological wellbeing scale by Díaz, Rodríguez, Blanco, Moreno, Gallardo, Valle & Van Dierendonck was used as instrument (2006). The design of the investigation is quasi-experimental applied in two times before the implementation of the program and after the implementation of the program. The results evidenced that the areas of self-acceptance, positive relationships and life purpose generated significant changes in the residents of the center. The objective of the research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational program "Chabuca Granda en la Escuela" in the development of cultural identity in school adolescents from the San Martín de Porras district of Lima, Peru. A quantitative approach of quasi-experimental design was used, the sample was non-random of 52 students, belonging to the VI cycle of regular basic education at the secondary level. The sample was divided into a control and experimental group of 26 students. The Cultural Identity Scale pre-test was applied to both groups. The present investigation had the purpose of determining the level of influence of the "BELIEVE IN ME" Program, in the improvement of the self-esteem of the first grade students of the Educational Institution Nº 32011 Hermilio Valdizán, Huánuco-2017.
