Peruvian retail market today, more than ever, has turned the phrase “everything goes through the eyes” into a competitive tool. The design and optimization of space, as well as visual merchandising, are techniques that impact the sale new concepts such as omnicanality and buying experience are fed by data analytics in order to describe the commercial mode; and new qualitative sources of information, among them color theory, specially help to understand and predict the impact of future decisions on the point of sale. This paper describes the utility of image processing techniques to innovate the retail market in the effort to extract useful information from advertising pieces frequently used in this sector.

Denoising diffusion probabilistic models (DDPMs) have demonstrated significant potential in addressing complex image processing challenges. This paper explores the application of DDPMs in three different areas: reconstruction of remote sensing imagery affected by cloud cover, reconstruction of facial images with occluded areas, and segmentation of bodies of water from remote sensing imagery. Inpainting involves filling in missing regions in images, while DDPMs act as data generators capable of synthesizing information that alings coherently with the context of the original data. Inspired by the inpainting technique, the RePaint approach was adapted and applied to reconstruction tasks. It is known that 33% of traffic accidents worldwide are caused by drunk driving or drowsiness [1] [2], so a drowsiness level detection system that integrates image processing was developed with the use of Raspberry Pi3 with the OpenCV library; and sensors such as MQ-3 that measures the percentage of alcohol and the S9 sensor that measures the heart rate. In addition, it has an alert system and as an interface for the visualization of the data measured by the sensors a touch screen. With the image processing technique, facial expressions are analyzed, while physiological behaviors such as heart rate and alcohol percentage are measured with the sensors. In image test training you get an accuracy of x in a response time of x seconds. On the other hand, the evaluation of the operation of the sensors in 90% effective. So the method developed is effective and feasible.

Palm swamps are ecosystems with a predominant presence of the palm Mauritia flexuosa, which provides important socio-economic and environmental benefits to the inhabitants of the Peruvian Amazon. The objective of this study is to determine the extent of palm swamp forest in the Ucayali region, Peru, through the supervised classification method of satellite images generated by the LANDSAT 8 Earth Observation satellite through the OLI-TIRS sensor, corresponding to Ucayali region in 2017. Within the framework of the Secondary School Accompaniment Program of the Social Space of Llefi à, Badalona (Barcelona, Spain), I carried out a photography workshop whose main objective was to allow young people to experiment with the photographic image and build personal visual narratives. This proyect proposes to understand the photographic experience as a process and not only as an aesthetic result. The article aims to account for the methodology used in the collaborative construction of a workshop and, this way, narrate the dynamics, encounters and links that can be generated from the photographic learning and the resulting images.

The learning process in training children with visual impairments and low vision requires the use of new devices that integrate image recognition and feedback on stimulation sequences with the senses of tactile and auditory responses into their design. Eighteen students with visual impairments (blind or low vision) between the ages of eight and twelve, who attend a school specialized in teaching children with visual impairments, completed three numerical stimulation routines. The software developed evaluates skills of addition and subtraction, identification of geometric shapes, and mental calculations to achieve a goal. En los últimos años, el uso de cámaras multiespectrales ha ido en aumento debido a su capacidad para analizar diferentes características de los materiales. Así, múltiples métodos para desarrollarlas están siendo estudiados. Un nuevo prototipo de una camara multiespectral de tipo multiespectral filter array, que utiliza nanowires como filtros, se ha desarrollado en el grupo de investigación de Nanophotonics de la universidad de Harvard. The creation of a Virtual Lab, integrated and interactive software, to perform histogram-based binarization of gray scaled images is reported. In an attempt to optimize the binarization the developed virtual lab introduces a Heuristic Binarization Threshold. At processing time, the module extracts the histogram of the input gray scaled image, and then a Heuristic Threshold is calculated by taking the weighted average of the foreground grey levels of the image. El diseño y la optimización del espacio, así como la comercialización visual, son técnicas que impactan en la venta. Nuevos conceptos, tales como omnicanalidad y experiencia de compra, son alimentados por el análisis de datos para describir el modo comercial; y nuevas fuentes de información cualitativa, entre ellas la teoría del color, ayudan especialmente a comprender y predecir el impacto de las decisiones futuras en el punto de venta. In order to evaluate the forms of interaction in the main Instagramers from Peru and Colombia, an exploratory analysis of their profiles was carried out on the Instagram audiovisual platform during 2019. For this reason, firstly, the Heepsy tool was used to establish the influencers with greater impact within the platform in both countries and then, through the monitoring tools Fan Page Karma and Social Blade, to determine a set of variables and parameters regarding their interaction. The results show that the audience index is higher for Instagramers from Colombia than for the ones from Peru. El siguiente trabajo consiste en el diseño y producción de contenido para Shortcut, un canal multiplataforma de tutoriales de edición y animación digital, creado para difundir contenido técnico. Este incluye el diseño de la identidad visual de la marca y la producción del contenido, que comprende de videotutoriales para YouTube, gráficas para redes sociales y mini tutoriales para Reels y TikTok. El objetivo fue crear contenido de calidad, conciso y de corta duración, que pudiera brindar soluciones rápidas a problemas específicos. The purpose of the present investigation is to analyze the elements and colors used by the 10 fashion corporations with the highest scores in the sustainability rankings when they share photographs and illustrations to Instagram and analyze the differences between publications related to sustainability and those that are not.
