A responsible parenthood program located in parochial clinics of several slum areas, initiated in April 1967 and oriented within a Roman Catholic approach is described. Educational aspects receive major emphasis through a system of catholic couples, social workers and family educators. These act giving information on moral as well as medical aspects of responsible parenthood. Oral contraceptives have been provided to 4,028 women for up to two years post-partum for child spacing. Additionally a rhythm clinic is also in operation. Fertility data as well as dato on side effects of oral contraceptives is provided.

The design of educative programs created to develop the middle school students´ skills is a recurrent subject in educational literature. The aim of this article is to find evidences that support an enrichment program oriented to improve motivation and engagement in gifted students. The sample of sixty students (10-12 years old) was taken from a Peruvian middle school. The instrument used in this study were the School Attitude Assessment Survey-Revised (SAAS-R) (Siegle y McCoach, 2005) to measure motivation and a rubric revised by experts to measure engagement. Finally, the results are discussed and some improvements proposal are given.

This research had as objective develop, implement and validate lexicons (write to the dictation of words and sentences to assess mastery of the phonological path and write words to assess the visual route spelling), a program of stimulation of the psychological processes of the writing: syntactic process (ordering and complete words, placing punctuation) and planning of measured Scripture through the construction of a sequence of stories and the drafting of a descriptive and narrative text. This research was comparison of user experience between the Scratch and Code.org platforms, for being used by novice program-mers. The comparison was taking into seven factors that influ-ence user experience, including usefulness, usability, desirability, findability, accessibility, credibility, and value. The research was carried out with the participation of 40 people with little or no knowledge about programming topics, the people carried out the following tasks: Register on the platform, use a sample project, create a project, program using block-based programming, explore the features and functionalities of the platform. In general, both platforms offer a good user experience for novice programmers. Finally, it is concluded that Scratch offers a better user experience, because it exceeded Code.org in 4 of the 7 factors.

El proceso de diagnóstico de un cáncer puede generar diversas afectaciones a los pacientes y sus familiares; sin embargo, existen factores psicosociales que pueden llegar a afectar aún más dicho proceso. El objetivo es conocer las necesidades psicosociales de mujeres con cáncer de mama desde su experiencia en el proceso de diagnóstico, para lo cual se diseñó un estudio cualitativo con una perspectiva fenomenológica. This paper proposes a methodology (using Object-oriented data modeling) to use geometrical entities such as “Point” (Punto in Spanish), “Polyline” (Polilínea in Spanish) and “Polygon” (Polígono in Spanish) using an abstract way using their properties and some functions upon themselves, in order to use them in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Programming in an easier way to represent geographical entities.
