The Congress of the Republic of Peru has received two bills with the purpose of including legal relationships composed of digital platforms, the companies involved and those who provide services for these platforms within the scope of Labor Law Regulations as a way to prevent them from being improperly excluded from such application of the law.This article explores the concept of on-demand economy and the economy’s new organizational methods that has been propelled by technological advances in the world of work and examines them through the review of international jurisprudence.

This work presents the edited conversation of the symposium “Efímero: Early Modern News-Sheets and Pamphlets in the Hispanic World,” held virtually at Stony Brook University in March 2021 with specialists from Europe and the Americas. The text presents new research, methods, bibliography, and projects on sixteenth to eighteenth century printed news, with focus on the transatlantic circulation between Spain and Peru. Specifically, it discusses news networks, the editorial market in Lima (1700-1711), engravings and theater pamphlets related to relaciones de sucesos, censorship, and the circulation of ephemera.

The purpose of this study is to develop a comparative study about the manners of accessing the comprehension of the natural physical world as it is clear from the naturalistic and mechanistic theories of Galileo Galilei and Francis Bacon. In fact, the new scientific rationality implied not only the consideration of epistemological and cosmological conceptions, but also the methodological ones by which the Galilean and Baconian philosophy presents them as a condition of possibility for obtaining Relevant knowledge. In this sense, to study the constitution of the new method of investigation and the elements that form it is constituted in an important contribution, so much for the human knowledge in general as for the scientific knowledge in particular.

Economic elites have not received enough attention in the economic literature. The obvious reason is limited access to information. This paper seeks to contribute to contemporary knowledge on elites in two ways. First, it employs a new unique data set on the world economic elite covering 2002-2014 to develop a method of measuring the degree of elite circulation; second, it provides a theoretical explanation of the observed facts. The empirical finding is that the world economic elite is subject to a low degree of circulation. Despite increased globalization, liberalization, longterm economic growth, and the recent Great Recession, the core of the elite remains mostly unchanged. Las élites económicas no han recibido suficiente atención en la literatura económica. La razón evidente es el acceso limitado a información. Este estudio contribuye al conocimiento contemporáneo en tres aspectos. En primer lugar, se utiliza una nueva base de datos de las élites económicas mundiales que cubre el periodo 2002-2014. Objective: To carry out an investigation on the main logistic cost overruns concerning the importation of new Toyota vehicles in order to minimize the impact on customs procedures. Method: A non-experimental scientific research was used since it is a topic related to the social sciences. For that reason, the theories shown as scientific were used for the support of this research. The type of research design is correlational since the effects of one variable on the other were examined. To achieve this objective, information was also used from surveys of 35 people who work both in the same Toyota company, as well as in the customs agency that carries out the dispatches.
