A neural network is a mathematical model that is able to perform a task automatically or semi-automatically after learning the human knowledge that we provided. Moreover, a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is a type of sophisticated neural network that has shown to efficiently learn tasks related to the area of image analysis (among other areas). One example of these tasks is image segmentation, which aims to find regions or separable objects within an image. A more specific type of segmentation called semantic segmentation, makes sure that each region has a semantic meaning by giving it a label or class. CF is an autosomal recessive disease, requiring mutations to be present in both alleles in the CF transmembrane conductance regulatory gene (CFTR). The c.3274T> C (p.Tyr1092His) mutation is not registered in the “CFTR2 project” database, but it is registered in The Human Gene Mutation Database. Neither are the two DNAAF4 c.1177C> T (p.Leu393Phe) and DNAAF5 c.1195G> A (p.Glu399Lys) mutations found in the "CFTR Project”, and their clinical consequences are currently uncertain. Here, we report the case of a Peruvian woman presenting this mutation, bronchiectasis and loss of lung function and provide a review of the literature.

Para evaluar el efecto de los costos laborales sobre el empleo es crucial tener estimaciones confiables de la elasticidad costo laboral de la demanda de trabajo. Usándose una base de datos emparejados a nivel de firmas y trabajador, estimamos una función de demanda no condicionada de trabajo de largo plazo, explotando información sobre trabajadores para corregir la endogeneidad en la determinación de los salarios. Evaluamos los efectos sobre el empleo y la pérdida de eficiencia social de los valores observados de las aportaciones de los empleadores impuestas por la legislación laboral (seguro de salud, capacitación e impuestos) así como de las deducciones a los trabajadores (seguridad social e impuesto a la renta). This work presents a sensor-based fluid pipeline leak detection system using an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). The implemented model consists of multiple flow sensors and pressure differentials, processed through a hybrid neural network and fuzzy logic hybrid system. The network comprises five layers, with layer 1 being in charge of performing the membership function and layer 5 being part of the calculation of the exit rule. The system aims to detect and prevent fluid leakage in fluid passages by identifying changes in fluid flow and pressure differential. The results demonstrate that the ANFIS system can accurately detect leaks in the ducts, reaching 93.24 % of accuracy, indicating the percentage of correct predictions in the training set. In this article a case study on the loss of appetite approached from the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is presented. First, experiential avoidance was conceptualized as a transdiagnostic dimension common to various human problems. Then, the story of the participant was reviewed and the assessment of the case was done by the Parental Acceptance and Action Questionnaire (PAAQ) and a record length of conduct, based on all functional analysis of the case was conducted. Subsequently, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) was applied in order to break the avoidant repertoire and route the path of life towards the valued actions, after that three follow-ups were conducted. Finally, the results obtained from topographic and functional successful benefits were analyzed and discussed, contingent on the application of ACT in the field of eating behavior problems.

This paper introduces an innovative approach to address the distribution network reconfiguration (DNR) challenge, aiming to reduce power loss through an advanced hyperbolic tangent particle swarm optimization (HT-PSO) method. This approach is distinguished by the adoption of a novel hyperbolic tangent function, which effectively limits the rate of change values, offering a significant improvement over traditional sigmoid function-based methods. However, motors are susceptible to various types of faults that can be costly in terms of downtime, production loss, and repair expenses. Early detection of these faults is essential to prevent unscheduled shutdowns, reduce maintenance costs, and avoid workplace accidents. This paper proposes a low-cost, real-time fault detection system for motors placed on the Non-Drive End based on neural networks, aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing maintenance costs in the industry.

The loss of biodiversity and the effects of climate change hurt agricultural production and food security in Peru and around the world. The family farming sector in Peru (97% of agricultural units – AU) faces numerous challenges when it comes to sustainably producing food. To sustain Peruvian agriculture in the face of climate change, climate-smart agricultural (CSA) practices and agrobiodiversity conservation are essential. This document characterizes the level of agrobiodiversity (index IDA) of family AUs in the Crisnejas basin and analyzes the impact of the elements that affect farmers’ decisions to apply multiple CSA measures.
