The teaching of human parasitology is essential for students of health sciences, especially medicine, because it is a major global public health problem―occurring with high frequency in low-income countries―and because of its presence in countries considered developed. In this sense, it is estimated that worldwide there are 2,800 million individuals infected with soil-transmitted helminths, 20 to 30% people infected with Toxoplasma gondii, 300 to 500 million new cases of malaria per year, and nearly 15 million Latin Americans with Chagas disease, an infection caused by Trypanosoma cruzi. This narrative review article analyzes information available in digital repositories on aspects of the traditional educational program of human or medical parasitology using descriptors or keywords closely related to the topic. The reviewed articles were mainly those published in peer-reviewed, index...

At present, teaching programming to future teachers is superficial or is excluded from computer science curricular. Only programming fundamentals are taught during computer studies, and skills acquired during the training are not applied in practice. The aims of this article are 1) to develop a programming course for teacher training disciplines that are taught in training units of the Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU), and 2) give recommendations to apply features of the programming language Python in the professional activities of future teachers. This work applies the iterative methodological approach to undertake the study in various groups of students of NEFU from 2016 to 2019. Quantitative and objective indicators are used. Results show which modules of Python are the most appropriate for students to study for their future professional teaching activities. The trainin...

Although the relationship between programming, robotics and education has a long history, these specific knowledge and skills were not explicitly included in the official documents of the Latin American education policy until recently. Argentina is the first South American country in which programming and robotics are included in the basic contents of compulsory education. In this article, based on a qualitative analysis of a set of official documents, we propose to explore the arguments favoring the inclusion of programming and robotics in formal education, and the way in which they are suggested to be incorporated in classrooms.

The recreational programs are best regarding the time to learn , and if we speak of children , is playing the most effective way to study , because the best learning is that which takes place within a warm climate and confidence , and better whether these programs are used in the teaching of a subject as respected as mathematics. The mere mention comes to the fore old fears and myths, but thanks to these programs have been able to go banishing. Cognitivist theories like Piaget, Ausubel and sociological program itself (Vygotsky, etc.) are strong support for design, implementation and success. Diagnosis made in this research revealed that most children in the second grade of the IE. COSOME had low or medium low performance, prompting the application of this fun program to reverse the situation. Thus, an investigation was carried out (according to Hernandez, Fernandez and Baptista, 2010) in...

The essential purpose of this research was to verify if an Environmental Education Program developed and applied by the above-mentioned authors positively influences the development and consolidation of the care and conservation of Amazonian forests in students of the CC specialty. H H. H.H. of the UNFV (CC. HH. SS. of the UNFV onwards). To this end, two Likert-type questionnaires were applied as entrance and exit tests for the program. The sample consisted of 44 students (30 students belonging to the Experimental Group and 14 students belonging to the Control Group), which was selected using “non-probabilistic sampling” of the opinion or criterial type. The approach was quantitative, the descriptive level comparative and the design adopted was the “quasi-experimental”. The “t” ratio of Student was used, and the SPSS Program was applied to process the information collected th...
