Objective. To determine the influence of digital tools on the development of reading comprehension in students of the second grade of secondary level, of the Ramón Castilla School of the district of Chuschi, in the remote education modality, 2020. Methods. The research was developed from the quantitative, explanatory type and experimental design in its quasi-experimental aspect. The sample, extracted from an intentional non-probabilistic sample, was made up of 32 students from sections A and B. The instrument used to collect the data consisted of a standardized test. Results. The participation of the 16 students of the experimental group, after the pre and post-test, showed that 7 (43.8%) students were placed in the level of achievement; 6 (37.5%), in process; 3 (18.8%), in outstanding achievement and 0 (0.0%), in initiation. Research on graphic organizers and reading comprehension has taken up new reins in the knowledge about the reader's mental processes, but it has been avoided to understand the levels in the reading process. The importance of organizers often focuses on the power they demonstrate to allow the reader to analyze and map ideas, especially concept maps and mind maps. In this study, we propose to determine the effects of graphic organizers on text comprehension at the school stage. The study is quantitative of quasi-experimental design. It was developed in 42 students from the primary level of Callao, Peru. The results allow concluding that the graphic organizers improved the comprehension of texts in general. There is research whose results show a low or moderate level of communicative competence in the Peruvian population, which is why we seek to know if it is possible to strengthen the level of communicative competence through the development of reading comprehension. The article evidences the implementation of a mobile application to manage information on the consumption of vital liquids in the homes that make up the administrative board of drinking water of the Santa Fe parish. Such a computer system allows for improving collection services and records, updating water consumption and monthly charges data, viewing the geographical location of the meters on a map, and synchronizing user information in real time. This paper’s main objective is to identify certain explanatory factors that likely clarify the choice of applying IAS/IFRS adopted by developing countries (DCs) up until the year 2008. Based on a sample consisting of 74 DCs the empirical results have indicated that the DCs most likely to adopt IAS/IFRS have a high level of economic growth along with a legal system of common law and an advanced educational level.

Purpose. The purpose of this paper is to analyse the role that different financial sources and financial specialization have on private research and development (R&D) activity in OECD countries. Design/methodology/approach. The authors developed several panel regressions choosing as a final model a two-way random effects regression to understand which funding sources are related to the R&D expenditure, and how financial specialization has links to the private portion of R&D aggregated expenditure. The authors include data from the years 2000 to 2016 for OECD countries. Findings. The results reinforce the critical role that stock markets have in enhancing private R&D and that bond markets have an inverse relationship with private R&D national expenditures. A quasi-experimental study was carried out with the objective of determining the effect of a neuropsychological intervention program on academic skills in reading, writing and mathematics in a group of first grade girls and boys of primary school at the Cadena Las Playas educational institution. municipality of Apartadó, Antioquia, Colombia, aged between 5 and 6 years, belonging to a low socioeconomic condition. Two groups were formed, the experimental and the control, each with 19 students. Measurement tests in reading, writing and arithmetic were applied to each participant.
