Technological advances have allowed to collect and store large volumes of data over the years. Besides, it is significant that today's applications have high performance and can analyze these large datasets effectively. Today, it remains a challenge for data mining to make its algorithms and applications equally efficient in the need of increasing data size and dimensionality [1]. To achieve this goal, many applications rely on parallelism, because it is an area that allows the reduction of cost depending on the execution time of the algorithms because it takes advantage of the characteristics of current computer architectures to run several processes concurrently [2]. This paper proposes a parallel version of the FuzzyPred algorithm based on the amount of data that can be processed within each of the processing threads, synchronously and independently.

In this work, it is necessary to analyze the increase of Back Order in the attention of crossdocking orders in the attention of Homecenter customers due to the lack of definition of purchase planning processes, resulting in logistics costs, fill rate charges and low service level. In Peru, according to the definition of the National Institute of Statistics and Data Processing (INEI, 2023), an individual in considered to be living in poverty if their monthly income is below PEN 415. Poverty decreased considerably from 2011 to 2019. However, after the COVID-19 pandemic, it has significantly increased, to the detriment of all progress made in the previous decade. Agricultural and urban expansion has caused considerable degradation of ecosystems. In the case of Peruvian high Andean grasslands, it was reported that between 2000 and 2009, this ecosystem was reduced by 7%. The limited or no protection they receive is partly due to the fact that the benefits of ecosystem services are not widely known. This research aims to establish and predict the influence of high Andean grasslands on the annual occurrence of landslides. To do so, we identified occurrences of landslides, falls, huaycos, avalanches, and alluviums in high Andean grasslands. We also examined urban areas and agricultural zones of Peru for the period from 2003 to 2016. El Perú se enfrenta a peligros naturales imprevisibles y repetitivos que se convierten en desastres cuando comunidades vulnerables están expuestas a ellos. El incontrolable crecimiento urbano incrementó los impactos del riesgo de desastres. En el distrito de Chosica, los asentamientos informales localizados en quebradas tienen que coexistir con recurrentes huaycos e inundaciones intensificadas por el fenómeno del Niño. El asentamiento Nicolás de Piérola, ubicado en la quebrada del Quirio, es la comunidad más poblada de Chosica expuesta a eventos repetitivos y extremos de huaycos. This research was conducted in a farinaceous products company that was facing a problem of low productivity due to frequent downtime, leading to underutilization of their capacity. The lean manufacturing methodology was used to address this issue, specifically value stream mapping (VSM) and single-minute exchange of die (SMED) tools. These tools were applied in stages, including a diagnostic pretest (current map), followed by design, implementation, and a posttest (final map). The results were evaluated after the completion of the process, and it was found that the application of SMED led to a significant reduction in downtime. The product changeover time was decreased from 82 minutes to 42 minutes, reducing plant downtime or waste by 40 minutes and improving lean manufacturing indicators.

There is a growing concern in environmental pollution levels of the neighboring ecosystems fruit processing plant by the discharge of untreated industrial effl uents and proper control of the authorities, because many of them have not considered the management their effl uents into the design of the plant. The objective of this research is to characterize and manage the processing effl uent. We conclude that the processing effl uents have a high potential for contamination by the abundant organic load and that have achieved the primary treatment of this potential reduction to acceptable limits by Peruvian law (98.1% turbidity removal and reduction of BOD Oxygen 96.58%), allowing the reduction of water consumption, release of hardship and its incorporation as a business friendly environment for approval of environmental authorities and the community as a whole.

The Feminist HCI is characterized as the integration of feminist theory into HCI practice, which can occur at all stages of the design process, including user research, prototyping and evaluation. However, there is still a research gap on the integration of feminism with established HCI methods. An HCI methodology that is also concerned with human values and the possible consequences of technological artifacts is Value Sensitive Design (DSV). The present work seeks to answer how to include Feminism HCI in the HCI Project with the VSD. This research took place in the context of ELLAS Project, an Open Data platform that aims to contribute to the reduction of the gender difference in STEM in Brazil, Peru and Bolivia.

The company under study aimed to reduce the scrap rates of each process of flexible packaging manufacturing, originated as a result of poor procedures, returned products, and observed spools and/or bales. A reduction in claims was also expected as a result of the improvement in the quality of the finished product. The reduction of scrap in each process of the plastics división led to a reduction in reprocessing and costs. This, in turn, had a positive impact on the company’s income as the provision of high quality products resulted in customer loyalty. Furthermore, processes in the areas of extrusion, printing, cutting, laminating and sealing were made more efficient. The standardization of procedures and processes improved their execution time, creating a more positive image for customers and competitors.
