This article seeks to analyze the function of the International Criminal Court (ICC) from the analytical horizon of critical studies and the particular contributions of the Helsinki School and social idealism. To achieve this objective, the main postulates of both perspectives are compared towards the concept of international criminal justice (ICJ), in general, and towards the performance of the ICC in its time of validity, in particular. The methodology used is that of a documentary analysis with a strong inclination towards texts of a theoretical, doctrinal and jurisprudential nature.

Mining company towns are concrete sites where the spatial government of mining companies and its consequences can be studied. In this thesis I did a qualitative case study on the new mining company town Kalumbila based on three months of field work between June and September 2019. Kalumbila is being developed next to a copper mine owned by First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (FQM) in the Northwestern Province of Zambia. It is a particularly interesting case to study, as it is presented as a model town, open to non-miner residents and investors and designed to be sustainable and outlive the mine’s lifespan. Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) sigue siendo uno de los patógenos más mortales a nivel mundial, a pesar de ser una enfermedad prevenible. La tuberculosis (TB) se trata con una combinación de cuatro medicamentos antituberculosos de primera línea: rifampicina (RIF), isoniacida, pirazinamida y etambutol, para cepas sensibles a los medicamentos. Entre estos, la RIF es uno de los agentes más potentes para controlar la enfermedad. Sin embargo, la resistencia a la RIF conlleva la aparición de casos de TB resistente a la RIF (RR-TB) o multidrogo resistente (MDR-TB). Identifying the factors that influence the planning and subsequent development of a class at the university level is necessary for the development of critical thinking in higher education students. The objective of this article was to present the results of the interweaving of teaching experiences in the framework of a class in which the same pedagogical tools were used. The methodology used was a qualitative and ethnographic two-level strategy to identify the factors that influence the expected result at the time of planning a class. The relationship between executive functions (EF), creative personality, and academic performance in Argentine university students was examined. A total of 248 students (M = 22.97 years, SD = 4.43) from various Argentine provinces participated. The Adult Executive Functioning Inventory (ADEXI), the Cognitive Flexibility Scale, the Creative Behavior Scale (ECC), and the Creative Personality Scale (EPC) were used, along with academic performance data and sociodemographic information. Data were collected online through Google Forms and analyzed using Spearman correlations and mediation analysis with robust Maximum Likelihood estimator and Bootstrap. The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) are independent methodologies, that can be used and developed freely, but can be an important enhancer when you want to achieve innovation if they work together. The objective of this article is to present an analysis of the customers’ requirements in a product manufactured with biodegradable materials, the output result when applying the QFD was the quality critic related to toxicity, while the input information for the matrix TRIZ’s technical contradictions were the translation of the quality critic to one of the 39 technical design parameters, corresponding to parameter 30 (Harmful factors acting on the object from outside), being considered as the transfer point between the methodologies thus achieving the integration of both.

In this paper, systematically describes the technology developed in this laboratory for the analysis of skeletal muscle, taken as an expression of the cellular phase of the organism, which is a great tool for future research on the changes that would occur in the intracellular environment during various pathological processes, or in many other biological problems. In our particular case, and as part of the curriculum of renal failure, we want to establish if it means intracellular biochemical changes, as with the extracellular environment, or whether its composition is more or less independent of renal function.

In this work, we present a brief introduction to Symplectic Geometry relating its origin with the Physics. Then we present the formal definition of symplectic manifold and some important results, with this we consider a function AH;N defined in the Cartesian product of the symplectic manifold (ℝ2n; ω0). Here we make an analysis with the fact that the critical points of this function are related in a biunivocal way to the fixed points of the flow Φt of the symplectic manifold (ℝ2n; ω0)in time t = 1 this thanks to the Hamiltonian diferential equations via the generating functions.

This article focuses on the results of a research on the concept of critical reading of the media in school coursebooks from seventh grade in primary school to second grade in secondary school, by considering the point of view of the communication and educational areas. The aim is to know the concept of critical reading that is present in the coursebooks given by the Ministry of Education, in order to establish the levels of media alphabetization that are given by the several contents and activities inside the learning resources. The results indicates that the methodology proposed for the teaching of the media’s critical readings in coursebooks focuses on an education “through” the media, by emphasizing the functional and instrumental level of the media in all of the coursebooks that were analyzed.
