In the present work, two experimental designs were carried out to find the optimal conditions to manufacture nylon nanowires and to synthesize graphene. The results obtained were: 0.68 M (NH4)2SO4 and 11.45 V; and 27 kV, 2.3 mL / h and 11.40 cm as the distance from the needle to the collector, respectively. This way, nylon nanowires and graphene were produced, both of nanometric size. Using these materials, a nanowire/graphene composite was prepared using optimum manufacturing conditions. The materials obtained (nylon nanowires, graphene and composite) were characterized morphologically (SEM) and chemically (FTIR, UV), verifying their nanometric scale, functional groups and their UV blocking properties. Currently, the use of different types of sensors and dataloggers (which use different communication protocols) could generate drawbacks to achieve adequate interoperability and scalability. In particular, for a solution applicable to precision agriculture, a specific purpose datalogger has been designed and developed, consisting of an ATMEL microcontroller (MCU), a micro SD memory, sensors with different communication protocols (UART, I2C, SDI 12), analog inputs, multilevel operating voltages. This paper presents the design and implementation of a executive functions’ stimulation program in a socially vulnerable population. The population was composed of 18 children between 6 and 11 years old, of both genders, who attend to Las Lilas Health Post (Pilar, Argentina), which were evaluated before and after the program’s implementation with the argentine adaptation of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children WISC-IV. The stimulation was done through a specially made booklet to work the executive functions (working memory, cognitive flexibility, inhibition and planning). This pilot program allowed to build a nexus with the community, forming a institutional framework, on which new intervention programs are supported for the same population.

Using a time of flight technique, the maximal values of kinetic energy as a function of primary mass of fragments from low energy fission of U-234 and U-236 were measured by Signarbieux et al. From calculations of scission configurations, it is concluded that, for those two fissioning systems, the maximal value of total kinetic energy corresponding to fragmentations (42Mo62, 50Sn80) and (42Mo64, 50Sn80) respectively, are equal to the available energies, and their scission configurations are composed by a spherical heavy fragment and a prolate light fragment, both in their ground state.

An attitude questionnaire composed of 48 statements related to "general health," "light products," "natural products," "salty products," "food as a reward," "pleasure," and "food neophobia" was answered by the participants, who indicated their level of agreement with each statement according to a 5-point Likert scale, ranging from (1) "totally disagree" to (5) "totally agree." A check-all-that-apply (CATA) questionnaire was also employed to characterize 12 visual stimuli. The creation of stimuli was carried out using a factorial design, resulting in 12 images of bread. Higher education sectors have experienced high levels of competence. In this scenario, some universities have responded through the offer of studies in non-traditional modality (distance). Various scales have been proposed to measure the quality of service in higher education, but few studies have focused on distance modality (non-traditional modality). This thesis proposes a novel approach for a nonlinear adaptive observer design applied to a reverse osmosis desalination plant. The considered mathematical model of the de- salination system includes nonlinearities of the states and the parameters that cannot be handled with previously published estimation methods which are based on the mod- ulating function technique. Therefore, the proposed real-time capable approach uses a decoupled parameter estimator and state observer. These estimates can be utilized for developing a controller or a fault detection system of the desalination plant with the aim of improving the quality and effort of fresh water production. The parameter estimator is composed of a convolution filter with modulating func- tions and the common Extended Kalman-Bucy Filter in order to estimate nonlinear parameters of a state-linear input/output relation. Además, es preciso tomar en cuenta que el proceso de envejecimiento en la persona origina cambios estructurales y anatómicos significativos como la disminución de la masa muscular y ósea lo cual afecta en gran medida su desempeño y capacidad funcional, pero este proceso podría reducirse si el adulto mayor realiza actividad física de forma regular.
