Objective: To compare the professional performance of the health establishments with essential obstetric and neonatal functions from Lima with respect provincie during September-October of 2015. Materials and methods: It´s a cross- sectional analytical investigation conducted in 350 health establishments with essential obstetric-neonatal functions I-II (FONE I-II) database based on national surveys conducted by the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) during 2015. New variables were created from the databases to determinate the gynecology staff´s professional performance and analyzed the data with the R statistical software and the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 using the chi-square test. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a widely used material in container manufacturing, particularly in bottle production. It is characterized by its low cost and widespread availability. However, its improper disposal has significantly exacerbated global plastic pollution. For instance, less than 50% of plastic bottles are recycled. Moreover, studies indicate that this issue has led to a significant accumulation of plastic waste in the oceans, which continues to grow annually and could be considered floating islands of debris. This study proposes replacing PET with polylactic acid (PLA), a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer with suitable properties for bottle production. This research aimed to compare the internalizing (anxiety and depression) and externalizing (hyperactivity) symptoms of Caraquenian children based on the level of food insecurity reported by their parents. A simple retrospective design was proposed with a sample of 200 children, aged between eight and twelve, and their representatives, in charge of reporting the food insecurity levels in their homes and the symptoms of perceived hyperactivity in their children. For the analysis of results, the non-parametric Mann-Whitney´s U technique was used to compare anxiety, depressive and hyperactive symptoms based on high and low levels of food insecurity. Results suggest moderate conditions of food insecurity in the households. The objective of this work was to compare different approaches that allow a better characterization of the environmental quality using benthic macroinvertebrates as indicators in rivers of the southwestern highlands. The study was developed with data from the hydrobiology monitoring of the Quellaveco Project between the years 2013-2015, with which we obtained quality indices (ABI, EPT, IMEERA and SVAP), community structure indices (Shannon, Simpson, N1 of the Hill and Pielou series) and functional diversity indices (richness, diversity, dissimilarity and functional equity, and Rao’s Q). The results of the multivariate analyzes showed that the rates of functional diversity, Simpson’s index and IMEERA have significant representativeness in the study units. El presente trabajo consistió en el diseño, análisis técnico y económico del uso de geosintéticos para tres funciones en particular en pavimentos flexibles. Primero, se evaluó la aplicación de un geotextil no tejido punzonado de separación entre el material granular y el suelo de fundación. Luego, se analizó la aplicación de un geotextil no tejido punzonado como envoltura de subdrenes longitudinales cumpliendo la función de filtración. Por último, se evaluó la aplicación de una geomalla triaxial de refuerzo para la optimización del pavimento en estudio. Para la función de separación, el diseño realizado se basó en la norma AASHTO M288-96 y en libro “Designing with Geosynthetics” del Dr. Koerner. Semiconductor-insulator interfaces play an important role in the performance of many different electronic and optoelectronic devices such as transistors, LEDs, lasers and solar cells. Particularly, the recombination of photo-generated charge carriers at interfaces in crystalline silicon solar cells causes a dramatic efficiency reduction. Therefore, during the fabrication process, the crystalline silicon must be subjected to prior superficial passivation; typically through an insulating layer such as SiO2, SiNx or AlOx. The function of this passivating layer is to reduce electrical recombination losses in interfacial defect states originating from dangling bonds. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo relacionar y comparar la sensibilidad ideal con la sensibilidad observada en un grupo de padres con hijos en edad preescolar. Para este propósito se evaluó a 13 padres entre 28 a 56 años de edad (M = 38, DE = 7.94) con hijos de edades entre 3 y 5 años (M = 56 en meses, DE = 10.45) pertenecientes al distrito de Chorrillos. Para la evaluación de la sensibilidad se empleó la versión adaptada del Maternal Behavior for Preschoolers Q-Set de Posada, Moreno y Richmond (1998 en Posada, et al. 2007) en modo de reporte de ideales y observación. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo demostrar que resulta necesario extender los alcances de la cosa juzgada en la legislación peruana, debido a que la actual regulación puede conllevar al inicio de procesos innecesarios que vulneran los principios de economía y celeridad procesal, así como el derecho a la tutela jurisdiccional efectiva.
