Objective: To determine the association between frailty syndrome and family functioning among older adults with diabetic retinopathy. Materials and methods: An analytical and cross-sectional study conducted among patients diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy. The ophthalmology department diagnosed diabetic retinopathy through pupil dilation, using tetracaine and an ophthalmoscope. Three groups were determined using the FRAIL questionnaire: frail, prefrail and nonfrail; the sample sizes were 39, 64 and 76, respectively, matched by age. The study variables included age, sex, education, marital status and occupation. Additionally, the time since the diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy was measured. A descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional research was developed. The study population consisted of inhabitants over 20 and under 70 years of age, of both exes from the districts of Cusco, San Jeronimo, San Sebastian, Santiago and Wanchaq in the city of Cusco, Peru. El objetivo fue determinar los factores que han influido en el trabajo del Comité de Control Interno. La metodología se basó en un diseño descriptivo y no experimental, con una población de 8 miembros del comité, a quienes se aplicó cuestionario para la obtención de resultados. Los resultados señalan que existe alto nivel de decisiones estratégicas respecto a los miembros del comité, al tomarlas dentro de su labor, como en otro ámbito. Addressing school climate and violence in schools requires school management skills. The 2011 School Violence Act in Chile promulgated the mandatory creation of the school climate coordinator (SCC). However, the law did not establish a defined profile, specific functions, or working hours for the SCC, and only recently have school administrators given SCCs more time for this position. This has created a flexible operating framework for the position, which could have implications in terms of the labor identity of the SCCs. This exploratory study employed a qualitative case study. Objective: to describe the demographic and clinical characteristics and determine the precipitating factors of heart failure. The importance of knowing these factors will allow measures to be applied that prevent or delay cardiac decompensation. Methods: we perform an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study design was applied. The sample was made up of men and women, of legal age, who were admitted to the Medical Clinic Service for decompensated heart failure between April and October 2023. A sampling of consecutive cases was used, and demographic and clinical variables were measured. Descriptive statistics were applied. El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la percepción del nivel de uso del marketing digital en colaboradores de empresas turísticas de la región del Centro del Perú. El enfoque de investigación fue cuantitativo, diseño del estudio fue no experimental transversal descriptivo, el nivel de la investigación fue descriptivo, desarrollado en base a la perspectiva de Selman (2017) el cual tuvo 12 ítems, las dimensiones fueron flujo funcionalidad, feedback y fidelización, la muestra estuvo conformada por 13 empresas turísticas, de las cuelas se encuestaron a 120 colaboradores. El resultado principal fue que los establecimientos turísticos en la regios central del Perú hacen un uso medio del marketing digital como estrategia empresarial.

The objective of the study was to determine the perception of the level of use of digital marketing in collaborators of tourism companies in the Central Region of Peru. The research approach was quantitative, the study design was non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive, the level of the research was descriptive, developed based on the perspective of Selman (2017)) which had 12 items, the dimensions were functionality flow, feedback and loyalty, the sample consisted of 13 tourism companies and 120 collaborators. The main result was that tourist establishments in the central regions of Peru make medium use of digital marketing as a business strategy.

Transbronchial cryobiopsy has been described as a new method to obtain lung tissue, demonstrating good correlation with surgical lung biopsies, fewer complications, costs and hospital stay. We describe our first experience carried out successfully in a national hospital. This is a 53-year-old female patient, with a disease duration of five years, characterized by progressive dyspnea. Non-UIP standard tomography. Rheumatological study: mixed positive ANA, speckled nuclear 1/2560 and nucleolar 1/5120. Anti-ENA positive, ANCA negative. Spirometry with FVC 1.83 (69%) and diffusion test 10.39 (67%). After the evaluation of the multidisciplinary committee, a lung biopsy was indicated. After clinical and functional evaluation, cryobiopsy was performed with the use of general anesthesia, prophylactic endobronchial blocker, fluoroscopic guidance and cryoprobe.
