Objective. To describe the impacts of the preliminary works of what will be the megaport of Chancay (Peru), referred to the transformation of the coastal strip of the bay. Methods. The study had a qualitative approach and resorted to a combination of environmental history methodology and the use of photographs to visualize the changes that have occurred in the bay over time. Results. There was evidence of transformation in the configuration of the coastal area of the bay due to anthropic action, which can be summarized in the annulment of the bay's function that generated the alteration of the coastline, sedimentation processes and alteration of the coastal marine ecosystem. The complex refractive indices of formamidinium cesium lead mixed-halide [FA0.83Cs0.17Pb(I1– xBrx)3] perovskite thin films of compositions ranging from x = 0 to 0.4, with both flat and wrinkle-textured surface topographies, are reported. The films are characterized using a combination of variable angle spectroscopic ellipsometry and spectral transmittance in the wavelength range of 190 nm to 850 nm.

Sensing drug substances by nanostructures are very important in accordance with the management of targeted drug delivery processes and drug substances detections. Boron nitride (BN), aluminum nitride (AlN), and gallium nitride (GaN) decorated carbon cage (BN-C, AlN-C, and GaN-C) scaffolds were assessed towards sensing the thiamazole (TMZ) drug through the wB97XD/6–31 + G* level of density functional theory (DFT) computations. The singular models were optimized and their combinations to each other were stabilized to obtain the interacting TMZ@Scaffold bimolecular complexes and their corresponding features. En el presente trabajo, se modificó químicamente al alginato de sodio con tiosemicarbazida (TSC), mediante una reacción oxidativa con peryodato de sodio en medio acuoso a temperatura ambiente bajo completa oscuridad. El producto sintetizado es un alginato parcialmente oxidado, el cual se hizo reaccionar con la TSC en medio acuoso entre 40 - 45 °C para finalmente obtener el alginato modificado (Alg-TSC). La tiosemicarbazida presenta en su estructura un grupo tiona (C=S) y un grupo amino libre (-NH2) lo que le permite actuar conjuntamente con el grupo carboxilato (COO-) propio del alginato, como un agente quelante cuya función principal es la de coordinarse a centros metálicos pesados, tales como el cadmio (Cd) y el plomo (Pb). The study of the complex ultracellular processes of nucleic acids is a subject debated as a scientific argument in favor of Intelligent Design (ID). The objective of this work was to analyze some molecular processes of the nucleic acids that suggest the confirmation of the ID theory, through the technique of documentary content analysis. First, the chemical structure of DNA and the combination of nitrogenous bases reflects that the genetic information of each created being is an original mixture of nitrogenous bases that makes each individual unique in the history of the world.
