The knowledge of the sexual identity conformation of the human person, has become an important factor in the integral formation of teachers of all areas and levels of Regular Basic Education due to the policies on integral sexual education that have been introduced in the new national curriculum with a focus on gender equality. Therefore, this communication aims to address the theoretical basis of sexual identity and then give way to conceptual strategies that will allow, subsequently, to consolidate the proposal of a training with a personalist bioethical approach. While gamification has shown promise in various education contexts, its effectiveness for developing teachers’ digital competencies remains understudied, especially in the Latin American setting. The systematization of a relevant experience such as the training of 21 in-service teachers with the use of an action-research component was aimed at documenting and writing what happened, as well as explaining the results achieved as a result of the intervention. The aim was to interpret the experience critically, to learn from it and improve future practice. The study used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results suggest that the component favored teachers to question their own beliefs about teaching and strengthen their abilities to make teaching problematic. They also suggest that these changes occur in training events that include spaces for reflection and discussion about beliefs and practices.

The present research studied the change in teaching practices of Basic Education (Primary School) teachers, from their participation in a training program in Economic Education. The sample consisted in 14 teachers of Understanding of the Environment, Language and Communication, and Mathematics courses, to who were applied the Economic Literacy Test for Adults (TAE-A) (Gempp, Denegri, Catalan, Caripán, Hermosilla & Caprile, 2007) and the Pattern of Observation of Teaching Practices (Denegri, 2005). The results reveals an increase in literacy economic levels and significant differences in teaching practices of the teachers participants, results are discussed considering the bibliographic review.

The objective of this study is to examine enrollment trends in the Bachelor's Degree in Basic Education at the Universidad Pedagógica Veracruzana, through the analysis of enrollment statistics at the beginning of courses over the last six academic years (2019–2020 to 2024–2025), in order to identify patterns, associated factors, and their potential impact on educational planning. The study was conducted using a quantitative, longitudinal approach with census sampling, employing basic statistical tools, time series analysis, and the linear trend equation to project future scenarios for the next six academic cycles. Inclusive education is an urgent need in the Peruvian educational system. The Education Act states that this is a right for all without distinction, however education for children with special abilities have been locked up in special schools, limiting participants to a confined education, avoiding social interaction with peers and socialization in their midst. The research presented aims to provide input regarding the updating of teaching and non-teachers working in special and basic education in regular primary education, it is proposed a training program in Inclusive Education and its new approach to help to overcome the condition of children with special educational needs for social integration.

The aim of the present study is to evaluate the effect of a teacher training program implemented by the Ministry of Education called Pedagogical Accompaniment on school performance and its main determinants. Using non-experimental impact evaluation techniques, measurements are made exploiting the test results of the Census Student Assessment of 2013. The results provide evidence of positive and statistically significant impacts. However, the size of these impacts is relatively moderate. Several hypotheses could explain the effect size. These are discussed in the paper. On the other hand, having a bachelor's degree instead of a pedagogical degree and multigrade experience favors significantly the positive results of the intervention.
