With the evolution of browsers and the implementation of new Web standards (HTML5), new tools became available that have enabled us to create more complex web applications with better user experiences. Over time, these types of applications have proven useful, but deteriorate the user experience as extended lengths of time are used load the data on each page. For this same reason, it is proven that there is a need for interaction from the server to the generation page with the hybrid applications. One such technique was to allow the use (creation and modification) of graphical user interface elements, both in the client just like the server, which is why these applications are called isomorphic. This article shows the process that was undertaken to arrive at the concept of isomorphic applications, which describes the characteristics that must have an isomorphic implementation and, finall...

This article develops a robust platform for remote process management.JAVA language is used as a programming language at three levels of development: Control Servers, Web Server and Web Clients. The interaction with the control servers will be through the serial port and/or parallel port depending on the requirement. Thus we can interact with any specialized control device: A microcontroller, a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) or sophisticated sensors that send data through the aforementioned ports, theLocal network of Control servers ensure the reliability and proper functioning of our processes. The exit door to the Internet will be the "Web Servers", which serve clients; Such a client does not have direct access to the system, until it has verified its privileges. The information thatjourney through the Web is encrypted. Using a microcontroller we w...

There are many tools for developing applications in Java, but there are few alternatives for frameworks or specialized libraries for displaying charts in web environments. Although most of them are for desktop environments, the PrimeFaces and ChartistJSF libraries are an alternative for the web, but they are oriented to projects based on Java Server Faces. In this sense, many projects prefer to use a graphics library built-in JavaScript, which implies an additional learning curve and is more time-consuming in developing applications. Therefore, it is necessary to have a unique graphics display library or framework for Java applications in the web environment. Therefore, in this article, it is proposed to build a tool that helps develop graphical visualizations in Java web projects using the concepts of TagLibs and Webjars. The proposed tool is called EchartsTag, and it was built followin...

Many companies have adopted the Agile methodology for software project implementation, which involves an iterative and incremental approach. This introduces changes to the software testing lifecycle, as the developed functionalities need to be validated in each iteration. Thus, to avoid manual testing and human error, test automation emerges as a technique for executing functional tests. However, automating tests and analyzing their results in Agile environments can be a complex process due to constantly changing requirements. Therefore, this study focuses on the development of software for generating reports of automated tests, presenting key performance indicators that measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. Additionally, RPA technology was used for the automation and execution of functional tests in web applications. Finally, the satisfaction level of the deve...

The advantages of machine learning are not only in trying to reduce losses due to better prediction but there are also benefits related to the evaluation of risk profiles, whether they are clients or entities. It also adds to the savings in operating costs and resources that must be reserved to cover potential delinquency. The objective of the work is to imply that artificial intelligence can help measure the credit risk index of a financial institution to avoid loss and thus determine whether to access a loan or not. In the methodology, the Python programming language will be used with the necessary libraries for the analysis of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which, through the steps done in work, will proceed to make an application that demonstrates how useful it is. It is machine learning to avoid losses. Finally, the final result obtained will be the application which shows us if a cl...

Importance of measuring the response time of web applications is transcendental for decisionmaking and/or corrections on the part of public officials involved in the departments of information systems and technologies. This research provides the conceptual framework for the development of a component J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) non-intrusive through Web Servlet filters and Interceptors of Spring Framework. It also uses the communication protocol TCP/IP for sending frames in JSON format (JavaScript Object Notation) and its subsequent reception for a stand-alone component for the record in a database. Finally, a hypothesis test between Log4j and Socket Simple technologies is performed, achieving an average record time of the plots approximately 0.05 seconds, and report that there are no statistical evidences to affirm that one is better and faster than the other.

Cataracts are a degenerative disease that causes opacity in the crystalline lens. They represent one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide, making early detection crucial to prevent severe damage to patients. Current studies on cataract detection face limitations, particularly due to the high cost of imaging devices and their limited accessibility for users. In this study, we propose a web application that utilizes a Deep Learning service to analyze fundus images and provide a cataract diagnosis. This application aims to assist healthcare personnel in medical centers lacking specialist ophthalmologists or facing limited resources for cataract diagnosis. We designed the physical architecture of the application using Azure services, enabling its deployment and operation in the cloud. Azure Custom Vision facilitated the training of our model with a dataset of 1446 fundus images, enco...

Serverless models are one of the latest architecture models provided by Cloud vendors such as AWS and Microsoft; we are exploring serverless applications to develop a progressive web application that will help future developers and project leaders to manage their projects better by having a tool that will help incorporate Scrum properly into their projects. As seen in the investigation done, we can see that South America is below the global average in completing projects on time or within the planned budget. In this work we explain the agile life cycle of the web application developed, focusing on the Scrum aspects of the tool design, the serverless architecture of the app and its following development, while also applying an analysis of the current projects to measure the level of effectiveness that a proper Scrum method can have on finishing a project correctly on time. With our initia...

The transition economies of Eastern Europe present both the opportunities and challenges for companies operating in these markets. On one hand, these countries have a large number of technology savvy young consumers, and on the other, the markets must also take into consideration the macro-environment of a country and market conditions which make the use of certain market technologies more feasible and attractive compared to others. It is certainly true in terms of the timing for introduction of various technologies in a country. Drawing analogy for the “IDITAROD RACE” we develop three different “Sled Dog Team layouts” for market characteristics and technologies for three Eastern European countries, namely, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Albania. The ten market characteristics included in our research are: digital connectivity divide, economic power, demand type, privacy laws, demograph...

The present research work was presented in the context of the deficit problematic in the inventory process of public school in Peru. The main objective is for public schools to use ICTs to improve this process. The methodology used for the development of the research work is Scrum, since it allows the application model to be carried out in an agile and organized manner. The different needs that each stage of the methodology presented were solved by the Balsamiq Mockups tool. In the results we can appreciate that implementing this web system offers speed and security to the management of the inventory of the public schools, since it is necessary to have a control of all the goods in real time. Therefore, this paper can be useful to public school functionaries who wish to implement a logistics system such as the one that has been designed

The phrase ‘divide and rule’ and which proposes a strategy of dividing a centralized power structure into smaller power groups. Based on this principle, this study proposes that in the project management for the development of a web application, where the application’s implementation can be divided in processes with their own tools, resources and life cycle. Both O’Reilly (2007) and Ginige (1998) mention that the technologies to be used in the front-end of a web application are different from those of the back-end, making it possible to decouple the implementation into its own components from the side of the customer or web browser and from the applications servers, databases and static files.

Electronic banking emerged as a result of the increase in customer demand as an easily accessible alternative channel, which saves time on their physical travel, and it is important that the customer feel confident and that this channel meets their needs. Banking applications can generate latent risks if they have not been properly implemented, thus generating a bad perception of bank services in general. For this reason, in the literature there are various studies on the application of quality models in various areas, but they have not been applied to Peruvian electronic banking, for this reason, in this paper, we propose a quality model in use for portable web banking. In Peru that allows to know the perception when using the electronic channel. The model consists of 6 characteristics and 11 sub characteristics, which were obtained by the assessment of experts in electronic banking. To...
