YouTube is a space for the dissemination of languages. In this article, we study the discourses on the teaching and learning of Aymara on the social network called YouTube, in videos created by institutions, independent groups and users in general in Bolivia. For this purpose, a discursive analysis of the comments made by cybernauts or followers is carried out. The research concludes that this is a case of linguistic activism in social networks, which is valued by their followers, while transmitting criticisms based on linguistic ideologies about language and its use.

In this paper, we examine some perspectives on the procedural doctrines of procedural guarantee and judicial activism, from which we extract their postulates, characteristics, and manifestations, in order to then analyze what type of labor judges we have. Este ensayo explora agentes y espacios de enunciación de la memoria no-cisgénero en el Perú. Puntos de contacto en los que convergen (o colisionan) dimensiones institucionales, sociales e ideológicas. En primer lugar, el ensayo revisa destacadas iniciativas mnemónicas de principios del siglo XXI. En segundo lugar, refleja oportunidades y tensiones en torno a actores de la memoria. Finalmente, analiza brevemente discursos que parten de activismos contemporáneos. Para abordar tales aproximaciones, se examinó literatura existente, agentes clave y sus dinámicas de alianza. La presente investigación analiza tanto las percepciones hacia el activismo de marca como su aporte al valor de marca desde la perspectiva del consumidor. Siendo el activismo de marca una estrategia publicitaria emergente donde la marca toma una postura social y/o política para hacerle frente a los problemas de la sociedad. El estudio es de naturaleza cualitativa y su diseño es el estudio de caso, en donde se analizó la campaña “Tigres de la honestidad” de la marca Mibanco. Se realizaron 18 entrevistas semiestructuradas a hombres y mujeres millennials emprendedores de Lima Oeste de entre 26 a 40 años con negocios formales. Los medios digitales se han convertido en una pieza fundamental para la comunicación de hoy en día, y el videoactivismo no es ajeno a ello. La presente investigación analiza el video “Elecciones generales 2da vuelta”, del realizador POLOVERDE ART, desde la sociología. Esta pieza de activismo digital, subida a YouTube, relata satíricamente la coyuntura política-electoral del Perú durante el 2021. Este artículo busca ahondar en las relaciones de poder y contrapoder plasmadas en este video, indagando en los comentarios del video en la plataforma. En la actualidad las movilizaciones sociales han adquirido importancia en América Latina, el Perú no ha sido la excepción, ya que en noviembre del 2020 se realizaron marchas en contra del gobierno de Manuel Merino. Los protagonistas fueron los jóvenes peruanos, ya que movilizaron a las personas por medio de sus redes sociales y lograron marchas nacionales masivas a pesar de las restricciones sociales que existían por el Covid19. El presente proyecto tiene como propósito analizar el rol que tuvo twitter en la participación de jóvenes en las marchas realizadas en Perú. Para ello se retoman las discusiones sobre redes sociales y activismo juvenil y Twitter y movimiento sociales en autores como Castell, Pleyers y Casero. Como estrategia metodológica se propone un estudio cualitativo basado en análisis de contenido y encuestas.

La tecnología, ahora convertida en mediación cultural, se ha vuelto transversal a la vida de las personas, configurando verdaderos “ecosistemas comunicativos” de la sociedad que posibilitan nuevos espacios de lucha y resistencia cultural y mediática. Es debido al auge de estas nuevas espacialidades que este trabajo se propone un acercamiento a las problemáticas que giran en torno al ejercicio de las nuevas ciudadanías digitales, haciendo especial énfasis en la apropiación tecnológica y las prácticas de activismo mediático como formas de resistencia; para, a partir de ello, presentar un repertorio de herramientas epistemológicas que contribuyan a describir y comprender acciones y experiencias del ejercicio ciudadano en entornos digitales.

Academic activism in health research seeks to promote equity and social justice with participating communities. A bilateral relationship between academia and communities is reached when knowledge is developed from the participants and for the participants. The aim of this article is to discuss strategies to use academic activism in community health research. We propose several strategies: the researchers’ reflexivity and positionality; the engagement of stakeholders; the immersion of the researcher in the field; and the development and transfer of knowledge. El desastre económico y ecológico provocado por el derrame de petróleo de la empresa Repsol en el distrito de Ventanilla el presente año generó reacciones tanto offline como online en la sociedad peruana. Sin embargo, a pesar de la generación de contenidos digitales para la difusión de información sobre la problemática, pocos resultados se obtuvieron debido a la falta de militancia colectiva para lograr cambios sobre la problemática. This exploratory article analyzes in a qualitatively way clothing trajectories of people who inhabit non-hegemonic bodies and participate in spaces of feminist activism. A series of interviews were carried out with the objective of knowing first-hand experiences in which clothing is used as a tool to actively raise transgressive messages that claim their identities. During the interviews we could also understand how subjectivities are configured on the margins of a society like Peru, where getting dressed responds to tacit and strict rules and fashion is ad-dressed to hegemonic bodies that also fit binarism.

Este artículo explora las relaciones entre el catolicismo liberacionista y los partidos políticos de izquierda en el Perú a través del estudio de una ONG fundada por la Compañía de Jesús en el distrito obrero de El Agustino, Lima. A lo largo de la década de 1980, la coalición política Izquierda Unida controló el municipio distrital promoviendo procesos de planteamiento del desarrollo urbano y procesos de consulta ciudadana, en los cuales la ONG jesuita Servicios Educativos El Agustino buscó involucrarse activamente. In this article, we present our experiences as researchers - activists, who have analyzed the US - Mexico border through our ethnographies. We will present reflections about our positionalities and subjectivities as activists, teachers, scholars, and residents of this border region. We conduct two different ways of activist research that we call 1) activist ethnography in the classroom, and 2) activist ethnography on the streets. We discuss the characteristics of eachone of these forms of activist research, the commonalities and differencesof both ways. We present our findings involving our own autobiographies and a theoretical analysis drawing from other activist - researchers who also use ethnography for research and activism.

Considering online social media’s importance in the Arab Spring, this study is a preliminary exploration of the spread of narratives via new media technologies. Via a textual analysis of Facebook comments and traditional news media stories during the 2011 Egyptian uprisings, this study uses the concept of “memes” to move beyond dominant social movement paradigms and suggest that the telling and re-telling, both online and offline, of the principal narrative of a “Facebook revolution” helped involve people in the protests.
