RESUMEN En la región andina existen comprensiones respecto al parto que difieren enormemente de las que el mundo occidental tiene. Algunas de estas ideas y premisas, fueron revisadas en el contexto social de una comunidad de la sierra central del Perú desde la mirada de las comadronas o parteras andinas. Este estudio por su naturaleza empleó el método etnográfico, realizamos entrevistas y observación participante en la comunidad de Huando, ubicada en el departamento de Huancavelica. En cuanto a los resultados obtenidos, podemos señalar que la comadrona o partera cumple un papel fundamental dentro del ciclo de la muerte y la vida en la comunidad, es la persona encargada de promocionar la salud y bienestar de las futuras generaciones. Fue autor de diversas obras filosóficas y teológicas, pero tambiénde tratados sobre minerales, biología, física e incluso de alquimia. El rol de la mujer en la ciencia, especialmente en STEM (Ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas; por sus siglas en inglés) ha avanzado dramáticamente a través de los años, a pesar de todos los obstáculos característicos de cada siglo 1. La estructura social había considerado a la mujer como cuidadora de la casa y de los niños, además de ser consideradas inferiores en términos de intelecto y empleo 2. Áreas como medicina y la naciente odontología, que en el siglo diecinueve estaban dominadas por hombres, albergan ahora en las aulas universitarias grupos igualitarios de estudiantes de ambos géneros. Aun cuando el progreso es evidente en cuanto al acceso a la formación profesional en ciencias de la salud, el camino hacia la obtención de puestos de responsabilidad mayor, o toma de decisiones, sigue siendo desigual para las mujeres en estas áreas.

This paper analyzes the validity and transcendence of Carlos Marx's postulates through his work "The Manifesto of the Communist Party" in today's society. All this through the analysis of various fragments taken from the work of Marx and various authors of postmarxism. We will make a deconstruction of its main proposals to understand why it has become one of the most important books in history. This analysis will allow us to establish the 3 main roles Marx played in history; the humanist, scientist and prophet, for this we will analyze various cultural devices of postmarxism. The methodology we use is hermeneutic and the results allow us to establish that Carlos Marx's postulates are more valid than ever, in this context of ultraglobalization, neoliberalism and postmodernism.

Entender los factores que subyacen a la producción de productos forestales no maderables (PFNM), así como monitorear regularmente los niveles de producción, son claves para permitir la evaluación de la sostenibilidad de las economías extractivas de PFNM. La cosecha de semillas de castaña (Bertholletia excelsa, Lecythidaceae) de los bosques naturales es una de las principales economías de PFNM en la Amazonía. The objective of this paper is to analyze the role that certain specialists in social sciences have had and the use of their output and knowledge, in the frame of a social demand of representations and visions of the migratory phenomenon of the borders, generated in Argentina during the nineties.

This work is based on the results of the research “Analysis of the use of software quality models: a proposal to improve processes in the ‘mypes’ producing software in Lima”, which was supported by the Institute of Scientific Research of the University of Lima. The study characterized “mypes” and showed that they do not have an adequate use of software quality models, both in their processes and products. In addition, these companies recognized that they have problems in their processes and the need to improve them. It was therefore proposed to develop a further research setting a suitable and sustainable process improvement model for each category of “mype”, based on an in-depth analysis of existing quality models, that could be applied throughout the entire software lifecycle: from the establishment of requirements to the quality tests.
