A field experiment was carried out in order to assess the performance (growth, yield, and yield-attributing characteristics) of five different spring rice genotypes. The study was conducted in a farmer’s field in Bagdula, Pyuthan, under the supervision of Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project (PMAMP), Rice Zone, Pyuthan, from March 2021–July 2021. Five spring rice genotypes, including PR-126, HHZ 25-DT9-Y1-Y1, IR 103575-76-1-1-B, IR 99742:2-11-17-1-9-B, and IR 86515-19-1-2-1-1-1-1, were evaluated in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with four replications each. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of different organic and inorganic fertilizers on the growth and yield of mung beans cultivated after the harvest of wheat in the Nawalparasi district of Nepal. An experiment was carried out at Sarawal rural municipality, Nawalparasi West district, Lumbini Province during the summer season of 2023. In this experiment, five treatments were used. A field study was conducted at a farmer’s field in Ratuwamai, Morang, from February 2023 to June 2023 to assess the impact of various bio-fertilizer sources on the growth and yield characteristics of rice. The experiment followed a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications and seven treatments. The treatments included: T1: Recommended NPK dose (100:30:30 kg/ha), T2: Farmyard manure (FYM) (12 t/ha), T3: Goat manure (8 t/ha), T4: Mycorrhiza (11.25 kg/ha), T5: Organic manure (11.25 kg/ha), T6: Mustard seed cake (3.75 t/ha), and T7: Control (no fertilizer). Use of the right mulching techniques is a crucial first step in replacing the issues with irrigation and weed infestation in potato production. To assess the performance of potatoes at two doses of zinc under different mulching conditions, a field experiment was laid out in a two-factorial, randomized complete block design (RCBD) comprising eight treatments with three replications each. An experiment was carried out in Baglung, Nepal, to determine how different soil amendments affected the growth and health of Srijana cv. tomato seedlings. The experiment followed a completely randomized design, with six treatments and four replications. The substrates were prepared using a variety of organic amendments, including control, cattle manure, goat manure, urea, vermicompost, and a coco peat-cattle manure blend. Weeds are the major burden for rice-growing farmers in the case of direct-seeded rice due to the preemptive competition of weed in the species early seedling stage. A field experiment was carried out during the spring season in 2021 to evaluate the effect of different weed management practices and row spacing on dry directed-seeded spring rice under the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project (PMAMP) at Rice Super Zone, Kanchanpur, Nepal. Globally, 21 percent of young women are married before their 18th birthday. Despite some progress in addressing child marriage, it remains a widespread practice, in particular in South Asia. While household predictors of child marriage have been studied extensively in the literature, the evidence base on macro-economic factors contributing to child marriage and models that predict where child marriage cases are most likely to occur remains limited. In this paper we aim to fill this gap and explore region-level indicators to predict the persistence of child marriage in four countries in South Asia, namely Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan. Rice is an important cereal crop and staple food of Nepal. The objective of this research was to identify the management of fertilizers that have relatively better performance and grain yield. Hence, a field study was conducted from February to July 2024 in the farmer’s field at Biratnagar, Nepal in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with seven treatments: T1= Nitrogen as Urea, T2= Potassium as MOP, T3= Phosphorus as SSP, T4 = NPK, T5 = Farm Yard Manure, T6= Mustard Oilseed Cake, and T7= Control, each replicated thrice. Growth parameters and yield parameters data were recorded. The study revealed significant variations in growth and yield parameters across the different fertilizer treatments.
