The Brasilia Rules are the result of an interesting effort made by the Ibero-American Judicial Summit, which sought to establish a code of conduct for states and the various public officials involved in the justice administration in order to guarantee effective access to justice for vulnerable groups. This work will focus on the evolutionary process of the Colombian legal system which, in the case of persons with disabilities, tends to improve the conditions for access to justice.

The adoption system in Colombia faces many challenges in the face of the high percentage of children who cannot be placed in a family. The purpose of this study was to analyze the pitfalls in the Colombian adoption system. The methodology used was based on theoretical-legal and empirical research. When inquiring about the main aspects of the adoption system we found that, despite the evolution of regulations and case law, the process is lengthy and difficult, thus many minors are institutionalized for a long time, thus many minors are institutionalized for a long time and potential adoptive families desist from adoption. Adoption is a choice based on love, on a deep conviction of welcoming a new member into the family; it is a measure to restore right and hence need to be addressed and prioritized by legal systems in general.

In this article, I propose to address the national configuration of the political right in Colombia based on the well-known analytical distinction elaborated by Raymond Williams of emergent, dominant, and residual. Therefore, it is not just about the new rights, but emergent rights that allow us to think about their articulations, distinctions, and tensions within a political field of forces that unfolds in specific national formations contexts. The first part of the article addresses some of the characteristics and contrasts that currently define the residual, dominant, and emergent rights in Colombia. To do so, it is considered pertinent to think from the historical and contextual specificity of the field of trends and forces that constitute what is proposed in terms of the national configuration of the political right. The analysis of the discourses and political subjectivities of the...

The essence of Medicine is service to the human being, and its teaching is carried out through the clinical method and a set of skills that the student must acquire throughout his training. However, it is possible that there is a pedagogical problem in the current model that makes doctors and students feel dissatisfied with their academic process, affecting their professional lives. The purpose of this review is to present some aspects that are experienced as a medical student in Colombia, the implications that the use of technology has had in medical training, and its impact on work and academic life.
