Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la incapacidad por dolor lumbar con el nivel de conocimiento ergonómico en el personal de enfermería del centro médico asistencial Santiago Apóstol, Moyobamba 2023. Metodología: Este estudio tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, con diseño no experimental, correlacional y de método hipotético deductivo. La muestra fue de 70 profesionales de la salud que desempeñan la labor de enfermería. Los instrumentos que se aplicaron son la escala de Oswestry y el Test para nivel de conocimiento de riesgos ergonómicos. Resultados: La incapacidad por dolor lumbar fue de 72,90% con limitación funcional mínima y el 27.10% limitación funcional moderada. En cuanto al nivel de conocimiento ergonómico, el 75.70% tiene un bajo e inadecuado conocimiento ergonómico. Por ello, se pudo determinar una relación significativa entre la incapacidad por dolor lumbar y el nivel de conocimiento ergonómico en personal de enfermería a través del coeficiente de Rho de Spearman igual a – 0.316 y cuya p = 0,05 Conclusiones: Los resultados muestran que el personal de enfermería está expuesto a riesgos ergonómicos y lesiones musculo esqueléticas laborales como es la incapacidad por dolor lumbar debido a que presenta un marcado inadecuado conocimiento sobre ergonomía y cuidado en el trabajo. |

Methodology: This study has a quantitative approach, of a basic type, with a non-experimental, correlational design and a hypothetical-deductive method. The sample was 70 health professionals who perform nursing work. The instruments that were applied are the Oswestry scale and the Test for level of knowledge of ergonomic risks. Results: Disability due to low back pain was 72.90% with minimal functional limitation and 27.10% with moderate functional limitation. Regarding the level of ergonomic knowledge, 75.70% have low and inadequate ergonomic knowledge. Therefore, a significant relationship could be determined between disability due to low back pain and the level of ergonomic knowledge in nursing staff through Spearman's Rho coefficient equal to – 0.316 and whose p = 0.05.
