En este trabajo se analizan los MD de los subtítulos de la serie Explained en su primera y segunda temporada, trasmitida a través de Netflix en 2018 y 2019 para identificar el tratamiento traductológico que tuvieron en un corpus de 388 MD, con el fin de comprender el comportamiento de estas unidades que en la subtitulación son omitidas en su mayoría, cambian la estilística narrativa de la serie documental. Por ello, dividimos los episodios de la serie en secuencias narrativas: inicio, nudo y desenlace para investigar cómo los marcadores discursivos fueron aplicados en el discurso original y cómo fueron abordados en la versión subtitulada. El análisis de los resultados indica que debido a la adaptación idiomática de los MD en los subtítulos en español se produce una disminución o nulidad de la subjetividad que se debe, en consecuencia, a la estilística de la serie que pretende ser documental (TF) y al subtitularse es informativa-descriptiva.

In this research, the DM of the subtitles of the series Explained in its first and second season, broadcast through Netflix in 2018 and 2019, are analyzed to identify the translation treatment they. There was a corpus of 388 DM. to understand how these units, mainly being omitted, change the narrative style of the documentary series. For this reason, the episodes of the series were divided into narrative sequences: beginning, middle, and end to investigate how the discursive markers were applied in the original discourse and how they were addressed in the subtitled version.
