Se determinó una correlación negativa, significativa y de magnitud moderada (rho = -.487, p < .01). Además, las mujeres presentan mayor puntaje de cansancio emocional y los hombres tienen mayor puntaje de autoeficacia académica. También, 44% de los participantes obtuvo un nivel alto de cansancio emocional, asimismo 57.5% logró un nivel bajo de autoeficacia académica. Se discuten las implicancias de los hallazgos dentro del contexto académico.

It is a cross-sectional and correlational study, carried out with 200 medical students (67.4% woman) between 18 and 38 years old (M = 21.14, SD = 2.13). A negative, significant and moderate magnitude correlation was determined (rho = -.487, p <.01). In addition, women have a higher emotional exhaustion score and men have a higher academic self-efficacy score. Also, 44% of the participants obtained a high level of emotional exhaustion, likewise 57.5% achieved a low level of academic self-efficacy.
