description El trabajo de investigación propone desarrollar un Mercado de abastos en la ciudad de Nasca, Ica con principios de la Arquitectura flexible. En un inicio al comenzar la investigación se obtuvo el análisis del estado en que se encuentran los mercados de abastos a nivel nacional, departamental y local para evaluar las problemáticas de demanda y oferta que engloban los equipamientos tradicionales. Asimismo, se analizaron las deficiencias que presentan estos a nivel de arquitectura en la ciudad a emplazar el proyecto. Posteriormente se investigo acerca de las características que presentaba el lugar en cuanto a datos urbanos, geográficos y climáticos, además de características presentadas por los usuarios del lugar, para delimitar el radio de influencia que presentaría el proyecto. Finalmente, se analizó la evolución de la tipología a nivel internacional y nacional con la intención de evaluar los cambios que presento este durante la historia, además también se analizaron normativas y proyectos referenciales exitosos de mercados de abastos y proyectos relacionados con el énfasis de Arquitectura Flexible, con la finalidad de obtener consideraciones de diseño para el desarrollo del proyecto.

Initially, at the beginning of the investigation, the analysis of the state in which the supply markets are located at the national, departmental and local levels was obtained to evaluate the problems of demand and supply that include traditional equipment. Likewise, the deficiencies presented by these at the architectural level in the city to be located were analyzed. Subsequently, it was investigated about the characteristics that the place presented in terms of urban, geographical and climatic data, as well as characteristics presented by the users of the place, to delimit the radius of influence that the project would present.
