Actualmente en Catacaos los artesanos o asociaciones dedicadas a las líneas artesanales se mantienen teniendo en cuenta que están limitadas al mercado, a pesar de que algunas de estas están establecidas dentro de los sectores de Catacaos no cuentan con un local comercial propio, viéndose claramente una gran demanda en los comerciantes productores que requieren de una infraestructura óptima para la exposición y comercialización sus productos artesanales, generando pocas ventas con ingresos económicos reducidos, al igual que un bajo nivel de visitantes, ante esta problemática se planteó como alternativa de solución, la creación y el de diseño de una infraestructura optima que brinde sus instalaciones a estas asociaciones y artistas artesanos que lo requieran, mejorando la comercialización y competitividad en el sector artesanal, brindando servicios turísticos y se promueva la cultura, sobre todo a la reactivación de la economía y la promoción artesanal.
