La muestra estuvo constituida por 50 profesionales de enfermería, a quienes se les aplico los cuestionarios de estrés y desempeño laboral. Los resultados evidenciaron que el nivel de estrés fue 38% severo, 36% leve y en menor porcentaje con un 26% moderado. En cuanto al desempeño laboral, el nivel fue 40% alto, seguido por un 38% bajo y un 22% medio. Se concluye que, existe relación estadísticamente significativa (X2 = 28,352; p = 0,000) entre el estrés y el desempeño laboral

The methodological framework was quantitative, with an explanatory level, non-experimental, cross-sectional correlational approach. The sample consisted of 50 nursing professionals who were administered stress and job performance questionnaires. The results showed that stress levels were 38% severe, 36% mild, and 26% moderate. Regarding job performance, levels were 40% high, followed by 38% low, and 22% medium.
