Se elaboró una prueba educativa y una rúbrica para recoger la información requerida. Los datos fueron organizados en una matriz de resultados por variables e indicadores. Como resultado se observa que el nivel de redacción del ensayo argumentativo mejoró significativamente después de aplicar la propuesta, por ejemplo, en cuanto al indicador “título”, el 48.5% de estudiantes obtuvo un nivel óptimo, mejorando considerablemente en comparación a los resultados de la preprueba, donde el 57.6% de estudiantes tan solo obtuvo un nivel regular. De este modo, se demostró que el cuento como estrategia didáctica sí mejora la redacción del ensayo argumentativo de los estudiantes.

First, the level of writing of argumentative essays was identified, and this was done through a population sample of 33 students and with the pre-experimental design. An exam and a rubric were made to collect the required information. The data was organized in a matrix of results for each variable and indicator. As a result, it was observed that the level of writing of argumentative essays improved significantly after the program was carried on, for example, regarding the indicator “title”, 48.5% of the students obtained the highest level, improving considerably in comparison to the results of the pre-test, where the 57.6% of students obtained the regular level.
