En la Carretera Paijàn – Macabi alto encontramos diferentes fallas que intervienen en el mal estado de esta vía, por ello se tiene como objetivo general realizar la “Evaluación de la condición superficial del pavimento flexible mediante la metodología PCI en el tramo Paijàn – Macabí alto del Departamento La Libertad 2022”. Se realizará el análisis sobre la situación actual en la que se encuentra el pavimento, se desarrollará el estudio en campo, siguiendo la metodología del PCI se observará los tipos de fallas en el tramo en evaluación, los datos nos servirán para clasificar según su tipo e identificar el nivel de severidad de las fallas. Como instrumentos de inspección al realizar el estudio utilizamos wincha, conos, nivel, libretas de campo y una cámara para el registro de las fotos. Finalmente, realizamos nuestro procedimiento de muestras, en las que las fallas encontradas en la zona de estudio la mayor fue del desprendimiento de agregados con un 19.05%, la cual la condición del pavimento en la que se encuentra es MALO
