Sumario: | The objective of the present study was to explain the influence of pedagogical leadership on teacher performance in early childhood educational institutions in the district of Iquitos in 2023. The research was non-experimental with a correlational descriptive design. The study population consisted of 220 teachers, and the sample, obtained through proportional stratified random sampling, included 140 teachers. Data were collected through questionnaires on pedagogical leadership and teacher performance. The results show that pedagogical leadership falls into the high category, with a mean score of 79.56 out of 100, while teacher performance is classified as outstanding, with a mean score of 77.74 out of 100. The Pearson correlation between pedagogical leadership and teacher performance is 1.000, indicating a perfect and positive correlation between the two variables. The significance value (p-value) is 0.000, less than 0.01, suggesting that the correlation is highly significant and not due to chance. Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. |
