La muestra incluirá la totalidad de enfermeros de la UCI del hospital de Huancavelica. Se empleará una encuesta como técnica de recolección, utilizando un cuestionario de 18 ítems divididos en dos dimensiones. Resultados: los resultados se mostrarán en gráficos y tablas para ofrecer una visualización clara y comprensible de los hallazgos, facilitando la interpretación y discusión de los datos nivel de conocimiento sobre ventilación mecánica en pacientes críticos, lo que permitirá una interpretación y discusión más efectiva de los datos obtenidos. Conclusiones: los resultados del estudio permitirá identificar las áreas educativas que necesitan mejora, asegurando que los enfermeros estén mejor preparados para manejar la ventilación mecánica en pacientes críticos.

Materials and methods: the study will have a quantitative approach, using statistical methods to measure the variables. It will be non-descriptive, experimental and cross-sectional design. The sample will include all nurses in the ICU of the Huancavelica hospital. A survey will be used as a collection technique, using a questionnaire of 18 items divided into two dimensions. Results: the results will be shown in graphs and tables to provide a clear and understandable visualization of the findings, facilitating the interpretation and discussion of the data level of knowledge about mechanical ventilation in critically ill patients, which will allow a more effective interpretation and discussion of the data obtained.
