La información se recolectó en una ficha de observación ad-hoc y se analizaron en Micromedex y Medscape. Se determinó que el 27.1 % de varones y el 15 % de mujeres no presentaron ninguna interacción medicamentosa potencial y que el número de interacciones medicamentosas potenciales más frecuentes fueron 2 (17.1 %) y 3 (11.4 %) en varones, pero 1 (20 %) y 3 (20 %) en mujeres. Las interacciones medicamentosas potenciales más frecuentes en el departamento de medicina del Hospital Militar Central de Enero – setiembre 2019 son ciprofloxacino-tramadol, orfenadrina-tramadol, clonazepam-tramadol y ranitidina-tramadol que representan al 2.6, 2.6, 2 y 1.7 % del total de interacciones medicamentosas potenciales. Las unidades hospitalarias con mayor número de interacciones medicamentosas potenciales fueron medicina interna, medicina general y oncohematología.
