La muestra estuvo constituida por 70 mujeres, asistentes al consultorio de psicología y seleccionadas por presentar problemas de pareja, las edades de las evaluadas fluctúan entre los 18 y 50 años. Se utilizó como instrumento de avaluación el Inventario de Dependencia Emocional de Aiquipa, conformado por 49 ítems y siete dimensiones cuya validez es de 0,05 y confiabilidad de 0,965; De acuerdo con los resultados, 50,0% de la muestra presentó un nivel “Alto” de dependencia emocional y el 15,7%, un nivel “Significativo”, además se hallaron resultados con niveles altos en cada una de sus dimensiones. Con base en este estudio, se elaboró un programa de intervención con el objetivo de reducir el nivel de dependencia emocional, aumentar el nivel de autoestima, reafirmar la autonomía en las mujeres para que puedan establecer relaciones saludables y equilibradas.

The study was conducted as a descriptive type with non-experimental design. The study consisted of 70 women and their partners, in which they had common relationship problems, and whose ages fluctuated between 18 and 50 years old. The Inventory of Emotional Dependence of Aiquipa was used as a tool to conduct the investigation, whose validity is 0.05 and reliability of 0.965; According to the results, 50.0% of the sample had a "Very High" level of emotional dependence and 15.7%, a "Significant" level, and "very high" levels were found in each of its dimensions.
