description El trabajo de investigación que presentamos tiene como objetivo principal que el docente que es el principal actor en esta dinámica, aplique al buen manejo de la gestión curricular del área de matemáticas tomándolo como una herramienta para la mejora de la calidad educativa en el Perú Así como también contribuir un desarrollo en la enseñanza de las matemáticas realizando a su vez una buena gestión pedagógica en el aula a través de nuevos recursos elevando así su capacidad para la resolución de problemas, percibir, interpretar, pensar y demostrar lo aprendido. Este trabajo busca precisar los beneficios de una buena gestión pedagógica curricular en el área de matemáticas como herramienta principal en el desarrollo de enseñanza y aprendizaje basándose en el currículo nacional como fuente guía para orientar al docente en este proceso. Es por ello que llegamos a la conclusión que el uso de una buena gestión pedagógica en el área de matemáticas facilita la labor del docente y beneficia a los estudiantes llevándolo a un aprendizaje significativo.
