Se utilizó un muestreo aleatorio simple, cuya muestra fue de 50 niños, empleando técnicas de encuesta e instrumentos como el cuestionario SIEMPRE y la escala de evaluación para la inteligencia emocional y las habilidades sociales, respectivamente. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 58 % presentó un nivel medio de inteligencia emocional y el 54 % un nivel alto de habilidad social. Se concluyó que existe una relación significativa y directa entre la inteligencia emocional y las habilidades sociales.
