description El presente estudio descriptivo correlaciona!, tiene como objetivo establecer la relación entre clima escolar social y autoconcepto en alumnos de cuarto año de secundaria, la muestra quedó constituida por 248 alumnos de 4to año de secundaria pertenecientes a 4 de las Instituciones Educativas de la Red N° 03, UGEL Ventanilla. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron la Escala de Clima Escolar Social - Reducido (Moos-Gomez, 2009) y Escala de Autoconcepto Forma A - AFA (Musitu et al.-Pantoja, 1997). Los resultados indican que las variables Clima Escolar Social y escalas (Relaciones, Autorrealización, Estabilidad y Cambio), correlacionan significativamente con el Autoconcepto y sus factores (Académico, Social, Emocional y Familiar); además las variables clima escolar social y autoconcepto correlacionan significativamente según Institución Educativa, género, edad y tiempo de permanencia en la institución educativa.
