El estudio fue de tipo básico, y de diseño no experimental, con corte transversal. Los instrumentos que se emplearon fueron; la Escala de Phubbing (PS; Karadag et al., 2015) y el Cuestionario de Agresividad (AQ; Buss y Perry, 1992). Los resultados señalaron que el phubbing y la agresividad tienen relación estadísticamente significativa (p<.05) y de tipo directa (.491**), asimismo, se encontró un nivel alto de phubbing en el 29.4% de los participantes, en cuanto a la agresividad, se presentó en nivel alto para el 24.3% de los evaluados. Se concluye que cuanto mayor es el phubbing, mayor será también la manifestación de agresividad en estudiantes universitarios.
