Su enfoque fue cuantitativo, con un tipo de estudio básico, no experimental, diseño correlacional causal, de corte transversal. Se trabajó con una muestra intencionada de 65 docentes. En referencia al objetivo general, se concluyó que la higiene postural no influye significativamente en el desempeño docente en la Institución Educativa 2083 Virgen del Carmen del Rímac, debido a la obtención de un p_valor=0,079 > 0,05 y el estadístico Chi-cuadrado = 3,078, con lo cual se rechaza la hipótesis del investigador. Finalmente, el coeficiente de Cramer's V con un valor igual a 0,261, ubicado entre 0,1 y 0,3, demuestra una fuerza de asociación moderada entre la higiene postural y el desempeño docente.
