El estudio tuvo como objetivo: Determinar la frecuencia con que influyen los factores en el rendimiento académico en matemática en estudiantes del I ciclo de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Científica del Perú, 2018. El estudio pertenece a una investigación de tipo descriptivo transversal y diseño no experimental, la población estuvo conformada por 200 estudiantes de la Universidad Científica del Perú que llevan la asignatura de matemática y la muestra por 33 estudiantes del I ciclo de Ingeniería Civil que llevan la asignatura de matemática. La técnica que se empleó en la recolección de datos fue: la encuesta y el instrumento fue: el cuestionario. Los resultados indican que los factores socioeconómicos, institucionales y psicopedagógicos a veces influyen en el rendimiento académico en matemática en los estudiantes del I ciclo de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Científica del Perú, 2018. The study aimed to: Determine the frequency with which factors influence academic performance in mathematics in students of the I Civil Engineering cycle of the Scientific University of Peru, 2018. The study belongs to a cross-sectional descriptive research and non-experimental design, the population was made up of 200 students from the Scientific University of Peru who carry the subject of mathematics and the sample by 33 students of the I Civil Engineering cycle who carry the subject Mathematics The techniques used in data collection were: The survey and the instruments were: The questionnaire. The results indicate that socio-economic, institutional and psycho-pedagogical factors sometimes influence academic performance in mathematics in students of the I Civil Engineering cycle of the Scientific University of Peru, 2018.
