description La presente investigación titulada: EVALUACIÓN HIDRÁULICA EN LA RED DE DISTRIBUCIÓN DE AGUA POTABLE EN EL DISTRITO DE HUANCAVELICA EMPLEANDO EL SOFTWARE WATERCAD, tiene como objetivo analizar el comportamiento hidráulico en la red de distribución de agua potable del distrito de Huancavelica empleando el software WaterCAD, evaluando la velocidad y la presión del agua potable en conexiones. Se utilizó el tipo de investigación aplicada, el nivel de investigación explicativo, el método de investigación científico, el diseño de investigación transeccional- descriptivo, así mismo, se consideró como población y muestra la red de distribución de agua potable del distrito de Huancavelica. Ejecutada la investigación, se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: a través del software WaterCad se demuestra que la red de distribución de agua potable del distrito de Huancavelica presenta tuberías y nodos que son poco eficiente en el comportamiento hidráulicos de acuerdo a la presión y velocidad de agua potable que exige la normativa y por ende tiene mal funcionamiento como sistema integrado, estos efectos negativos pueden ser corregidos a través de un diseño optimizado.
