The province of Morropón presented the highest frequency with 8.11% (95% CI 0-16.91) and the goats of Huancabamba, Paita, Sechura and Talara were seronegative. The animals seropositive to N. caninum were adults (>1 year) and were living at an altitude ≤500 meters above sea level.El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la seroprevalencia de Neospora caninum en caprinos de ocho provincias de la región Piura, Perú. Se analizaron 361 sueros con el kit comercial de ELISA de competencia ID Screen® Neospora caninum Competition para la detección de anticuerpos IgG anti N. caninum. Se halló una seroprevalencia general de 3.32% (IC 95% 1.47-5.17). La provincia de Morropón presentó la mayor frecuencia con 8.11% (IC 95% 0-16.91) y los caprinos de Huancabamba, Paita, Sechura y Talara fueron seronegativos.
