| Sumario: | Righty nine samples were analyzed. As control group 25 students aged 20 to 25 years old from the School of Dentistry were selected. We olso studied 44 patients with HIV-AIDS and tuberculosis, 24 patients only with HIV-AIDS, and 10 subjects aged ears old as control group. The average value of salivary proteasa activity in the control group was 0.067 / 18 horas , and we faund that the highest value and the lowest value were 0.084 and 0.045, respectively. In regards to servan proteasa in the 10 subjects used as control (suject.v without HIV-AIDS and tuberculosis), the highest value of proteasa activity was 0.092, the lowest value of proteasa activity was 0.067, and the avarage value of proteasa activity was 0.078118 horas of enzimic work. Tuberculosis and candidiasis evolved leafily by symbiotic way, and there displaced other opportunistic diseases (Kaposi sarcoma), and eve observed progressive decrease of salivary flux as a result of constant inhibition by carius precess and periodontal disease (simple gingivitis). In patients with HIV-AIDS and tuberculosis, serven and salivary proteasa activity decrease extraordinarily. If tested with a greater uvinber of cases a substrate with better specificity (substrate for aspartate proteasa as in the case of HIV) , our result night be an omportant contribution to clarify the pathophisilogy of the biological cycle the infection with HIV-AIDS. |
