Sumario:The development of new methods of compensating for the power and economy losses of diesel engines at high altitudes is still in progress, although turbocharging is the most effective method. It is also possible to compensate for altitude losses by forcing the working process of the engine through the composition of the mixture. This is based on the intensification of the mixture formation and combustion processes by introducing activators into the engine cylinders.
