Sumario:Introduction: Maternity presents conditions exposed to risks of violation of health rights and its understanding will contribute to improving the quality of care and maternal outcomes in the country. Objective: To determine the characteristics of the complaints about alleged violations of rights in pregnant women at the national level before the National Superintendency of Health during the period January 2019 to June 2021. Materials and Methods: Analysis of secondary sources with open data from SUSALUD (http: // data.susalud.gob.pe/). The anonymized report of Queries and Complaints was used. The institutional and demographic characteristics and the scope of violation of health rights were studied. A bivariate analysis was performed with SPSS 26. Results: There were 2,693 complaints that affected people in conditions of pregnancy, 6.7% (200/2 963) in adolescent pregnant women, these were face-to-face in 43.0% (1 276/2 963), being 85.2% (2,524 / 2,963) in health establishments, 44.0% (1 304/2 524) of the Ministry of Health and 63.2% (1 873/2 963) in insured to the SIS. The alleged violations of rights were registered mainly at the level of the IPRESS with 83.1% (2 462/2 963), for the right to access services with 47.3% (1401/2 963), access to information 25.4% (754 / 2 963) and attention in 17.1% (506/2 963). Conclusions: Maternal care presents a high frequency of complaints for alleged violations of the right to health in its dimensions of access to services, information and care, more visible in the COVID-19 Pandemic, which suggests reviewing future response strategies in the face of health emergencies without exposing the right to health of pregnant women to risks of violation.
