Para evaluar esta actividad se utilizó el Método de Biozzi modificado por IMET-EsSalud en ratones albinos Mus musculus cepa Balb/c, cuyos resultados se obtienen estableciendo el coeficiente de regresión lineal (K). El estudio realizado mediante este método, demuestra que tres especies: Huama Pistia stratiotes L, Santa maría Piper peltatum L y Uña de gato Uncaria tomentosa (Willd ) DC. estimulan el sistema inmunitario.

Folk medicine gives these plants some credits such as stimulation of natural immunological defense and healing of some aliments failing treatment with synthetic drugs To evaluate these properties the Biozzi Metnod, modified by IMET, was used on white mice Mus musculus strain Balb/c, and results were obtained using the linear regression coefficient (K).
