The present security systems encounter vulnerable surveillance and protection breaches in financial domains day by day. These systems compromise the privacy of the users in such a way that their personal data are collected and controlled by the third-parties. In this regard, Bitcoin has been implemented in the financial space. It has made possible the trusted and auditable computing via decentralized network associated with a public ledger. This work proposes a decentralized personal data management system for banking sector using block chain which makes sure that the user can control their personal data in their own .It presents a Privacy-Protected Blockchain network in which all data is encoded within a controlled time period. Despite the fact that the data is available in the past, this design can successfully preserve user privacy and protect from deceivers, providing the data more s...

Because of the growing pandemic of Corona Virus Disease-2019, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) must utilize electronic learning (e-learning). Today's work economy, which is forever in flux because of the creation of new jobs and the continual disappearance of old ones, necessitates an on-the-job shift. Despite HEIs in less-wealthy nations like some countries of Asia being developed countries, in essence, it is much more difficult for students and teachers at these higher learning institutions to deal with the transition to e-learning due to their tight financial restrictions. This study sought to determine whether learners at the start of the COVID-19 Era were ready for e-learning and a connection between demographic variables and readiness for e-learning. A quantitative survey obtained information from 1200 students from elite higher educational institutions in South East Asia. A ma...

Mapping the multidimensional impact of learner attributes on behavior demonstrates the importance of models in learning. To this purpose, we examined the correlations between strategies and student characteristics and utilized regression analysis to determine how learner attributes affect strategy selection. A cross-sectional study of 258 students demonstrated widespread strategy use, as well as statistically significant connections within and between the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning and Student Characteristics of Learning measures. Regression analysis found distinctions in the types of learner characteristics associated with strategy adoption, most notably between direct and indirect strategies. Instrumental motivation predicted both direct and indirect Strategy Inventory for Language Learning scores, but self-efficacy affected memory, cognitive, and compensatory strategies,...

What is this summary about?: This is a summary of the article discussing the results of the CAPItello-291 study. In the study, participants had advanced breast cancer that could not be completely removed with surgery, and that was diagnosed as a type of breast cancer where tumor cells had hormone receptors (HR-positive) but did not have HER2 receptors (HER2-negative). All participants were also required to have previously received treatment with a type of therapy called an aromatase inhibitor (with or without a CDK4/6 inhibitor), but over time their cancer cells had still grown or spread. The CAPItello-291 study researchers wanted to find out if a treatment combination of the medications capivasertib plus fulvestrant worked better than placebo plus fulvestrant. Capivasertib is a drug that blocks the activity of a protein called AKT, which is found inside breast cancer cells. What are the...

Background AKT pathway activation is implicated in endocrine-therapy resistance. Data on the efficacy and safety of the AKT inhibitor capivasertib, as an addition to fulvestrant therapy, in patients with hormone receptor-positive advanced breast cancer are limited. Methods In a phase 3, randomized, double-blind trial, we enrolled eligible pre-, peri-, and postmenopausal women and men with hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative advanced breast cancer who had had a relapse or disease progression during or after treatment with an aromatase inhibitor, with or without previous cyclin-dependent kinase 4 and 6 (CDK4/6) inhibitor therapy. Patients were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive capivasertib plus fulvestrant or placebo plus fulvestrant. The dual primary end point was investigator-assessed progression-free survival assessed both in the overal...

Purpose: To assess histopathology and outcomes following primary enucleation of eyes with retinoblastoma presenting with neovascular glaucoma (NVG). Methods: This was an international multi-centre case series study across five continents. Retrospective review of patient charts was performed for all patients undergoing primary enucleation for retinoblastoma (n=1420) using a standardised data-collection spreadsheet. Clinical features, pathological grade, and outcomes were compared between NVG patients and those with an American Joint Commission on Cancer (AJCC) 8th edition clinical stage of cT2. High-risk histopathology was defined as AJCC 8th edition pathological stage ≥pT2b. Results: NVG was seen in 224/1420 (16%) patients. Mean age at presentation of those with NVG was 30 months (median 25, range 0-120 months) and 131(58%) patients had high-risk histopathology. The univariate logistic...
